K10.6.2 is up

K10.6.2 2017-03-08
-| Latest: from google :: good size
-| FI.d: v60

i thought google already released the march security update. So I went ahead and got everything ready thinking i already applied the kernel security update. While i was writing the patch notes, I realized I never merged the security update because they weren't even out... Well anyways enjoy this small update :silly:

The new home for the usb tools are at https://github.com/USBhost/USBtools
Edit: there will be a flashable zip soon for usbtools. Or just move everything to the root of the zip then flash it.
If only GitHub zipped everything to the root other then in a folder.

Thnak you @USBhost, since version 10.5.8 this device changed from barely usable brick to fully working tablet. No freezes, reboots or overheating on both Pure and Reconstruction roms (bonus point: kernel fixes infamous battery status bug in Pure Nexus).

@USBhost would it be possible for you to make a standalone 7.1.1 battery indicator patch that can work for other kernels? I've tried making one but I've had issues getting it to work. This is clearly your specialty and I would appreciate if you take the time to do it. Thanks.

I rather not take some of CPU governors that make those kernels there own kernel.
I will ask them if it's OK with them. It just doesn't feel right taking all there hard work and just put it in mine.

PS. I'm out from tonight to Sunday late. If I don't respond in a timely manner that's why.
I'd be happy to help port "Sublime Active" and "Touch" to your kernel if you're interested.

Sure I'll make one (soon).
Thanks! If I need help I'll be sure to ask.

Just a quick reminder.
To update TWRP just flash the new TWRP then reflash FIRE-ICE
I didn't flashed FIRE-ICE right after the update and now TWRP won't boot. Neither the new version nor the old one. Do you have any solution for me? I restart to recovery, see the TWRP splash screen and then the tablet reboots to recovery and it's the same procedure.

O grate... (not your problem)
Give me a few minutes so I can cook you a ready TWRP
That you can flash from fastboot or on Android.

here you go https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1cOHQ70J9vlSzdmdFh3OFNaZmc
use fastboot or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mkrtchyan.recoverytools&hl=en
Please let me know ASAP if it worked!

These frequent rotation locks are strange and annoying. :(
Found this Rotate Screen Orientation app useful as a temporarily solution. Cheers :fingers-crossed:
While I really appreciate the suggestion, you're quoting a post that's almost 2 years old, lol. The issue has long since been addressed, at least in my case v

Yeah I noticed that to.
But I did nothing to affect it or at least I don't think so.

The Orientation fixes itself after a little bit for me.
I think it's more of a ROMs fault than mine.
I noticed it when I updated to March
