I've flashed the FI kernel over Resurrection Remix, and it actually fixed my audio playback.
The audio it was horrible with Resurrection remix rom. Thank god you exist

No problem, It's definitely kernel related as I didn't have the issue prior to flashing. It's affecting all audio, notifications and media etc.
Ok the rules out one thing.
Give me the link of the ROM you used.
Plus the build date of the one you flashed.

clean install lineage-14.1-20170321-UNOFFICIAL-flounder.zip
opengapps open_gapps-arm64-7.1-nano-20170321.zip
plus my kernel
all is well, both speakers are working / stock web browser youtube
try updating to that build? or try doing a clean install again.

That's the exact setup I'm running now yet still have the issue. I did another clean install last night so I'll try a different ROM as I guess my speaker might have randomly died.
Yeah, it wasn't the kernel. I've just stripped down the device and re-seated the speaker and it's working again. Sorry for the mess about it was just a complete fluke that it died just after I flashed your kernel! keep up the good work!

I just tried your kernel for the first time about a week ago and it has completely transformed my N9. I had tried a number of ROM's and kernel configurations and would always get freeze ups, normally several times a day. Since I started using the Fire and Ice kernel I haven't had one single freeze. Thank you so much for your hard work and somehow understanding what the N9 needs.
