Hi, i donwload and flash with exkernel your last release FrankenKernel.P5.rise1.5 but i loose my root. Is it normal ?
Thank you.

Depends on whether you flashed the patched image or not. If the first is true, yes, this is normal, as it has to be patched for root access. If you downloaded and flashed the patched image, try downloading the unpatched image and patching it yourself before flashing.

Lost my kernel after reboot. How do I maintain the kernel?

I patched it with magisk and fastboot booted the patched img.

did you boot it or flash it?

fastboot boot patched.img will only apply the patched image for that specific bootup.

fastboot flash boot patched.img will make it permanent.

you can always fastboot boot the image to see if its works correctly, and then just flash it within exkern manager, or magisk...

there's lots of options.

Sorry to necro this post, but I was curious if this kernel would give us access to the display options in the kernel manager. I'm trying to get the Pixel 5 screen to match the vividness of the One Plus 7 pro and I've tried Sa2uration and it works okay, but I see these kernel display options have a ton more options. Thanks.
