do u have any battery saver app?

Sent from my SM-T210R using xda app-developers app
Nope. It's weird. I been running this kernel since day one. I'll figure it out, I'm sure.

Edit: The OEM email app had my Wifi hanging. I deleted accounts and all is good now. My multiple email accounts are forwarded to one account now using the Gmail app.

It may be a specific driver for the chip set on the vga converter you're using. I'll look to see if there are any vga options in the source.

Tried 1900 and it got unstable. So I think 1800 is the safest. Will now try to improve the memory read/write speeds.

Oh... I flashed it and it is smoother than the previous version(duh) but the battery life drains faster. But that is to be expected so I underclocked it. A very solid kernel indeed. So is there going to be a overclocked gpu in the next bersion. Just asking. :)

Gratitude

Coming from galaxy SII - i9100 and Xperia Z parts of this forum, I just now fully realized and appreciate the amount of work that goes into modifying for instance the kernel of our devices. I never wrote in here ever I think, but now i had to congratulate and show gratitude on your greatly appreciated effort. There are almost no other person this active in the tab 3 8.0 development it seems. Thank you for sharing your improvements with us Arshull.

Haha, I was just doing the same thing; coming here and just saying thanks for all the work you put in this. Can't even compare how much faster and better my device is now since i flashed both the rom and kernel.

Really, super appreciated everything you do arshull! :good::good::good:

2 questions though:

1) the new SIO scheduler is the default one, yes?
2) seems like the default gorvernor is ondemand, is there any benifit of chosing pegasusq? I've tested both and can't really notice any difference and read that pegasusq should be better with multicore-devices but not really sure and just wondering what you think about it..

Anyway, keep up the [very] good work!

New Version Posted in OP..... several major improvements!

Version: 13.10.14
- Increased Overclock to 1900mhz (blazing fast now!)
- Reduced Underclocking to 50mhz (yep, that's right) (Thanks Civato)
- Re-implemented zRam and it's running smoothly (make sure to use a quality CPU app, like FauxClock, to turn on and adjust zRam function)
- Finalized HotPlugging feature and fully implemented
- Enabled/Added SVGA adapter support (a few users had requested)
- Stripped Debugging on a few features to shrink the size of the Kernel and burden
- Added and Optimized ARM R/W functions
- Modified OnDemand Governor for increased performance
- Increased Read-Ahead Values for Memory (2048)
- Added a LOT of PPP, networking & connectivity drivers - especially for Bluetooth and Network controllers via USB (This will allow you to connect Tab to external modems and several BT interfaces, including Serial)
- Added some additional OTG/Host controller features - allows broader compatibility based on User setup
- Added additional support for generic chargers
- Additional EXT4 File System support features
- Converted several features to Modules to allow Kernel to be less bulky (should increase some performance)
- Various Bug Fixes

Thanks for the encouragement! It is greatly appreciated!

- yes, I had SIO as the default scheduler, but mainly to show that it was added. Feel free to change
- I've had better experience with OnDemand. Especially with the new version I just posted - it has some significant performance tweaks!

FYI - I enabled all of the SVGA drivers/support in this latest version (just posted). This enables the Samsung VGA adapter support. Any additional/proprietary adapters will need to have individual drivers loaded. Let me know if you have any success with the newest version.
