İ dont Intall this kernel ?

Hi :) i want to intall the kernel but i dont do that. First my device is not root and i intall Odin and TWRP_T31x_r3.After i shut down the tablet and i hold Home + Volume Down + Power and Download mode is open and i connect usb cable and open odin and i press PDA and chose TWRP_T31x_r3 and its done because its restart auto. But i again power off the device and press hold power and volume up recovery opened but thats orginal recovery. And i chose intall from sd cart (ROOT_SGT3_8.0.zip) but i have failed. After i opened galaxy tab 3 8.0 i look from cpu-z it say root accies : No :(:(:( Could you pls learn me How i install your kernel

Now i do almost everything but my currency problem is [Q] skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found if i want to flash the kernel (GalaTab3_Kernel_SM-T310_Tab3-13.11.08r2_w.Initd.cron) How can i fix this Failed

I have SOLUTION Just uncheck the "ZIP verification and it works :)

Hello all.... As an update, I am working on a new release but don't want to mess with too much because everyone seems to be getting great results/performance in the latest version. I keep getting benchmark scores from users - most are very close to 18000!

I'm working with a couple of well known devs to figure out some special functions for our device and hope to have them wrapped up soon. Also, I got permission to port an incredible ROM to the Tab 3, and I'll release that soon as well.

Just wanted to keep everyone updated and ill release everything as soon as it's been tested and smooth.

Have a great weekend!

It seems to only happen with set cpu for some reason. I'm researching.

I don't know what's appening , even with nofrills and cpu master i've problems. nofrills act like setcpu, and cpu master after a while reset itself on 300 min and 1900 max, even if i choose 200-1000. in the end with fauxclock i can't select the frequencies, they're stuck on 300-1900. i've to go back to the stock one :crying:

I'm still working out a few bugs and will hopefully have a release in the next couple days. The stock Samsung source is riddled with bugs and implementing new features on top of the bugs causes a lot of headaches....It's like building a new house on top of quicksand.

Additionally, I was able to get ahold of a new 4.2.2 ROM along with permission to port a seperate ROM from another device, so I'm trying to get 3 major projects done at once - but the kernel is the backbone for it all and I want to make sure that is working 100% before releasing it to the wild....

I'll update the OP once testing is complete and I'm confident of the stability.

Thanks and let me know if you are wanting to see any specific functions.

Thank you for your hard work.:good:
It would be desirable to be able to configure overclocking graphics cards, as it is done with the processor in your kernel.
Looking forward to good news from you.

gaming issues

Thanks for all your hard work, but, gaming on this device for me is not so good after updating to your newest kernal. Dead trigger 2 has noticeable frame rate loss compared to stock kernal, and asphalt 8 is now unplayable. I updated because I needed otg hdmi support on rooted device. I hope it gets fixed soon as I need otg for xmas otherwise I will be going back to stock unroot.

Cheers

OP Updated!!!!

Version 13.12.21r5
- Completely Re-wrote Kernel Mod's and/or re-implemented functional features (that are known to be stable)
- Built against an updated & modified 4.7.3 Android Toolchain (up from 4.4.3)
- Added and Implemented Boeffla Sound Engine (You can use a few apps to control the engine)
- Fully implemented GPU Controls!!! Overclocked to 700mhz but works very well at 533mhz (without having to burn through your battery)
- Independent CPU and GPU throttling based on your use. (i.e. - GPU does not ramp up if you are processing heavy data)
*** Again, use TricksterMod to adjust GPU frequencies to your liking)
- Re-Implemented CPU Overclock from 50mhz - 1900mhz
- Rewrote and modified Hotplug for better performance and ramp up's
- Cleaned up several algorithms and eliminated code that is not used on our device
- Eliminated several debugging functions (thanks to ketut.kumajaya for his previous work)
- Added back several additional drivers for BT and USB connections
- Full OTG and Dock features - including charging while using OTG and MHL/HDMI

On a quick test before uploading - this new revision scored over 18000 on the benchmark without implementing "Performance" CPU or overclocking the GPU beyond 533mhz. I'm not a "gamer", so I'm sure some of you will put this to the test, but the core function of this kernel has surpassed the Galaxy III (which I also own). The GPU function and frame rates tripled compared to the last update a month ago!

ENJOY and HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE!!!!!

Thanks for all the hard work dude, just to let you know, I scored 16707 on Antutu with this kernel, however, previous kernel scored more but I guess it is because this kernel is cpu clock @ 1800, and previous was clock @ 19000.

Dunno why my benchmark is low, 18000 seems way off for some reason, any ideas

H Man.

Not sure... oc to 1900mhz and oc gpu to 533mhz and you should see similar results. Like I mentioned, use Trickster to set the settings, reboot and test. I also have a lot of the bloat uninstalled which typically uses up resources that are never needed.

Thx, good job!
Everything seems to be working (gps included)!
One question: after uninstalling TricksterMod and a fresh install of your kernel it´s running @1900 Mhz, shouldn´t it be 1800?
