Yesh, the beta has a problen with memory heavy graphics operations.PPlease don't use it and get back to stable as noted in the previous posts. I'm working to fix this for the next beta.Tried flashing the beta on phh v115. Freezes pretty often in Chrome, forcing a restart. WIll try wiping davlik and cache

Sooo, tracked down and killed the video-reboot-freeze-omg-help problem (probably). Works for me here, so it should work for you too.... hopefully...Pleased to report that stable is working stable![]()
Argh, the link in the release post pointed to the old beta. My fault guys. Make sure you're running 15b and if you downloaded from the link in the previous post, please re-download it. My bad. Apologies. Here to report after 30 minutes of usage of the latest beta:
Everything seems to work perfectly as stable, but, the video issue that freezes and you need to reboot still there. Rolling back to stable for now.
Edit: I'm on the July build of Pixel Experience GSI.
Welcome to the 4monthswithoutxiaomiupdates gang ?Installed latest EU vendor and bam! got hit by the bug
hahaha yeah it's insane to follow all the people using different vendors / firmwares / basebands. It's like chasing a rabbit down a hole. Now I get why lineage sticks with a firmware / vendor set and never changes itWelcome to the 4monthwithoutxiaomiupdates gang
actually the pain are comes from the china developer ROM. How ?Yep various vendor and firmware = pain in ass. That's why we put crDroid in the OP link on the latest from China Developer ROM - 9.7.25.
it's quite easy.So how do we deal with this problem?
Or I keep shouting for a serious rom developer to partner with that helps me build and test a proper vendor for a non gsi rom. At that point we're good to go and we decide when to update the blobs.it's quite easy.
tell everyone to use stable version, both the users and xda developers. which is impossible, because their friends will says "hey I'm using ported rom from meme.eu because of course is it".
or
either drop all links related to miui china developer, so anyone in the internet can't download it, and focus on the stable version, which is impossible too.
or
tell someone on the xiaomi that they should push their regular weekly updates on their github, which is...yeah, frickin impossible and too egoistic ?
yeah, it's 50% of my 1st point.Or I keep shouting for a serious rom developer to partner with that helps me build and test a proper vendor for a non gsi rom. At that point we're good to go and we decide when to update the blobs.
woahh really ? that so freakin awesome , will try it asapI had with 1.5c after night 7-8h only 1% battery consumption. :good: All switch on like LTE, BT, data, wifi,... wow
