Hey guys, i think i have found the problem to why my dual system touch does not work when trying to use the factory system.. looks like i have updated the kernel whilst doing some upgrade files off here..

So my original kernel file was :-

kernal #315 smp preempt dated sept 13 ‘22

New kernel # 355 smp preempt dated december 9th ‘22

Any help to how i can roll it back to the version i had?

My unit is FYT UIS 7862

Thanks

Roll back is easy enough. Copy your old kernel (6315_1.zip) and the lsec6315update binary onto a clean USB-disk and flash it.
Hi surfer, i have tried this and the kernel still stays as the new one and the fyt management is still loaded on… this is becoming so frustrating for me 😢 is there anyways i could wipe the unit clean and start over again? My only fear of that is i have a app “car ui” which looks like is coded to flip over to the original car system when selected which i will have to find out how to load onto the android system once reinstalled if possible. Again thanks for any advice/help

Wiping the unit is explained in the main UIS7862 Q&A thread.
Post 1 under firmwares.

Read up on what the updatecfg.txt file is for and modify it accordingly.

You only asked for rollback of your kernel.
If you want fmc removed and all other apps and settings, you need to add twipe_data to your update.cfg
