With the latest release (HentaiKremul Akeno Himejima R1.0), it was mentioned that there were TCP Westwood improvements. Are we able to use Westwood as the TCP congestion control algo (I can only see cubic or reno), or has TCP advanced control been disabled from kernel side? I'm using smartpack kernel utility to modify kernel settings however I am struggling with this.

Thanks for the pointers, seems like I missed this.
Will be enabled on next release or a future ROM update that uses the kernel. Which one comes sooner

Looking forward to having Westwood on the TCP, it remains the best algorithm for years now.
Overall this seems great, only "issue" is that Always On Display is boosted to max brightness after 5 seconds and doesn't dim, so using it permanently is out of the question.

Yes it works. At least until Xiaomi does something that breaks that compatibility, but for now it's perfectly compatible.

I need the fingerprint more than I need permanent AOD. I just set the AOD to turn off after 10 seconds, doesn't bother me.

Seems to slow down a little bit the responsiveness of the apps, but I guess it's a feature and not a bug

In case some users don't use telegrams en Amy not know about this, I am currently working with a dev for Mi 8 SE and we've made a new clean kernel (HentaiKremul Vanilla) which has been used on my ROMs (and others as well). We will soon start working a new version of the kernel called Hardcore which will have more features, optimizations than Vanilla one. Only hardcore will be available as a stand-alone kernel since the vanilla version is meant to be included as prebuilt kernel in ROMs. The thread will be updated when the new kernel is out

But now, eu Miui 12, the kernel does not work anymore for me.
Screen cannot be awake after turning off display. Sad for now
