Same here. Not able to record videos! It auto focuses for 2 sec and throws a message recording failed.

Hello, i am using this wonderfull kernel (v16) on an miui rom (the unofficial rom from miui.en or gerrett's one) but i have 2 problems on both roms:

1) playing HD vidéos don't work

2) when the phone is pluged for power charging, the capacitive touch screen don't responce correctly.. Its dring as if anyone is touching your screen when your try to do some thing...

With this Kernel and the only Videoplayer that works for me is MX

YOUTUBE won't work I have to download Youtube Vids and Play them with MX

I'll hope there is a fix soon

Its a known issue. I am not quite sure why you guys keep posting about it as if @maxfu doesn't know.

As he said, he just had a new baby and is busy, so until he gets around to it please try a different kernel (CoH kernel) or deal with the problem until its fixed.

Hi, in fact I've tried flashing the very first hydracore nirvana listed by maxfu (the oldest one), and so far it works fine, and the ROM is decidedly faster. Dunno about battery life though. I used standard one, not OC.

Bad news is my n7000 is broken. And I bought a Huawei Ascend Mate.

Good news is I will keep the n7000 for a while cause it still can be used as a tablet. So I will stop adding new features and keep maintain this kernel until I fix the camera problem.

It's over.

Guys, I have to say: it's over. My note has totally died, not turning on, not flashing. So I think, this is it. n16 is my last version.

If someone like to go on, go to my github and clone the codes. If you use original speedmod defconfig, the video recording issue should be fixed.

The video player issue is caused by overclock, put the clock driver back to normal should fix that.
