Okay, for those of you who have the amtel touchscreen you are in luck!

You will never believe it, but I have managed to get the touchscreen working in pointer mode!

Features:
[v10] Same as my InfinityPLAY kernel, but this is for ICS and has a semi working touchscreen!

To use this, apply this ROM (flash it): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1355189

Then download this kernel(flash it after you applied the rom): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13729847/ics.zip

Don't think data or anything works, but it didn't with the CM7 kernel either (on ICS).

Thanks appreciated!

Who said we couldn't have ICS? It looks smooth enough to me!

Thanks for the work kieran, I'll be happy to try test and stuff but I need a stable phone so sticking with CM7 for now...however does the kernel behave like the real deal in the emulator? If so, please let me know what settings to apply for the emulator to behave like a Wildfire and what components to download and I'll be happy to test the kernel with the ICS ROM kaassaus and you are working on!

The phone has a different environment compared to the emulator so you will not be able to use this on an emulator, but thanks for offering.

Sent from my HTC Wildfire

I have dropped this, as well as source on github, arco already has done what I made out to do.
You can still find my other kernel based on arco's at github.
