I've decided to hold off on 1.16, so far 1.14 is the best in my opinion. I am currently testing powerhint module from freak07 with my kernel to see how it performs compared to my kernel without it.
Too much drama occurred from it, sorry!
It is possible, but not easily. The usual KCAL implementation is on the display subsystem for QCOM.
You should be fine to just flash over. I would recommend removing any magisk modules that were installed by other kernels though such as the powerhint from Kirisakura.
well, I think it's safe to assume that a build on a branch called Dec would be meant for the December update
The latest version of EXKM has the updated paths for wakelock blockingThere's a lot of activity in the telegram channel for those interested including tips for Wakelock blocking and other tips for battery life improvement. Feel free to join in and report your results using the kernel!
We find that we can only do Wakelock blocking on Franco Kernel Manager. EXKM doesn't work for Wakelock blocking so just wanted to mention that as well even though it is included in the kernel.
