Yeah a lot of users are reporting huge issues with overheating of top backside of tablet (by the Wi-Fi radio) when doing things like simple web browsing or running speed tests.

Just to confirm, SELinux is NOT disabled in this kernel, correct?
Yes

If only such a material existed... ;)
I'll be creating my new thread with a guide soon. I noticed today when I took the cover off that some of the clips for the back are already getting worn... So taking apart the tablet should be very very limited by everyone... Not like me and my laptop, I've taken that thing apart about 40 times...
I have a new theory that will be much much better for modding the inside of the tablet so it dissipates more heat into the tablet for a limited time before the area is saturated by the temps. It should work. I just need some additional sticky pads to make it possible. I'll report back with my findings. So far the tablet can get upto 75c on the cpu before it starts to throttle. I got the gpu all the way upto 85c by accident :p

How are people getting 2200 single core scores with this tablet in geekbench 3? Best I get is like 1800...

Hey I had a thought about the heat issue for some people. Maybe there are different revision of our k1 chip like the pvs bins from qualcomm.
We have dynamic uv as I understand correctly from @flar2. If this dynamic uv does its job dependent on the pvs bin it would explain why some people don't get any issues.
@flar2 is there any chance you could implement a file where on is able to check the bin of the chip they've got? :)

It's not exactly a pvs bin on this chip, there is a number printed right at the beginning of the kernel log after you boot. It's called speedo. IIRC, higher is better.

Thanks guys. I did a factory reset and reflashed the factory system. Seems its back to normal. I get 1997 in geekbench 3. Antutu is 59k
Ice storm extreme is 26300. I think the CPU temp overlay was also reducing my scores.
For some reason the stock kernel is a tad faster benchmark wise than elementalx with the same clocks...any reason why?
