I see that in the OP post it says that force encryption is turned off, but when I go to settings it still says my tablet is encrypted. A quick google search shows me that after flashing the unencrypted image im supposed to factory reset my tablet. Is this the correct way of unencrypting my tablet or am I missing something?

Flash the unencrypted boot image via fastboot then format user data (factory reset) boot into recovery and flash the kernel before booting up initially. Some Roms or kernels will force the encryption so that's why I do it immediately

I've had this kernel since day 2. All I did today was format data in TWRP and then the factory reset. When I rebooted it was not encrypted.

I will say this tablet really flies now!

Yeah now we just need 5.1/5.2 to b be released so the source can be updated :)
