First I just wanted to say I love your kernel and am currently testing your newest app that was just released, so far everything's solid. I came from Fire and Ice which caused a bootloop trying to switch to your kernel so had to wipe everything. Was worth it though.

My question is I can't get the GPU to over clock. First I left the stock settings in Aroma when installing and just typing in the command. Didn't work so I went and re-flashed, but this time picking the over clock option for the GPU. Still didn't appear to work so I also typed in the command but to no avail. Was hoping maybe someone could sheld some light here. Not quite sure what I'm doing wrong. :)

It could be your hardware. Tegra has this strange way of programming the hardware, assigning a "speedo" number that limits the maximum frequencies. This seems to be burned into the chip, and each device has a different number probably based on some kind of tolerance testing. I suspect yours has a low speedo, and the code I've added can't override it.

Wow, I've never heard of that. Though you would know better then me. That's quite interesting. I guess it could also be a bug considering I'm on 5.1.1. Won't know until I move back to stock. Thank you for your quick response. Now if that is the case, that doesn't mean my GPU is inclined to give out quicker does it?

Can anyone tell me how to disable thermal throttling on this tab, love the kernel but the throttling is killing the performance!!!

Just a quick update. I got the GPU to over clock. It only happened once though and when I clicked on the graphics tab inside your app, somehow the minimum freq was set to 984. The second I changed it back to 72 it stopped over clocking for me and obviously I couldn't set the minimum back that high again. Not sure what's going on here. I'm on 5.1.1 and will have to try stock tomorrow so I can see if that makes a difference cause it appears its capable of at least the frequency provided in the kernel.

If I want to disable encryption do I need to do a factiry reset after flashing this kernel? I'm currently showing encrypted after wiping and loading 5.1.1 stock.

No, it's enforcing. Permissive is not recommended, but dead simple if you really want it.

Didn't your installer have an option to set selinux to permissive? Is there a way to set selinux to permissive permanently, since it's no longer in your installer?

Wow, that was quick! Thanks. Any specific reason behind removing this?

Just bought your kernel app btw.
My original app was removed from the play store for messing with selinux. I don't want the app to be able to download something that can mess with selinux, just to be on the safe side. Google has no mercy.

Oh, this is the reason we have to pay twice.
As a Google fanboy, I hate Google this time.

Nvm, I still bought your new app.

Cheers,

Yeah, I can't find the app in the play store. Will we have to pay again for it?
