battery gone from about 70% to full discharge overnight can't get stats or previous logcat, but BetterBattery graph shows crazy power drop in 20 minutes, while native battery graph shows nothing.

what could it be? dmesg/last kmsg included
It could be almost anything. Reboot and it will probably be done.

This type of thing is never caused by a kernel.

@flar2
further analyzing with advanced battery tools show what and when happened.
from latest Screen off till big discharge there is:

first wakelock caused by connectivityservice which is normal,
second wakelock, WIFI MANAGER DELAYED DATA STOP . suppose it's when wifi gets deactivated if you have Keep wifi ScreenOff: Never.

and the third one PhoneWindowManager mPowerKey Wakelock for 3s 93ms, Screen was on for exact amount of time right before "Big Reboot", while device was discharging at ScreenOn rate 10%/h. But that happened while definitely no one could touch the device, PowerKey etc.

info acquired from android bug report and can't give wrong readings, if i didnt mess the wifi driver or something)

Just wanted to post a thanks message over here. You made my Nexus 9 fly again with this great kernel. Performance on stock was never up to par... But now, wow a whole other league! Thanks and thumbs up!

I have exact this combo, snapshot CM13 and N9-4.09 kernel, no problems with sound in youtube videos.
That's interesting Flickflak. When flashing the kernel, which options did you pick? I just went for everything default as I'm new to this game...

I've never experienced any audio troubles before and the issues are on BBC radio player and TuneIn Radio. As its more than 1 app, I'm presuming its a global problem for me.

I use the default options of kernel. A quick test with playing a song in Google Play Music - sound ok with screen on and screen off. No problem here.

I tested the sound when I got home and I had the issue when the screen was on and off. The pops and crackles got worse the longer the audio went on. :crying:

I've now flashed cm13 again which has put back it's own kernel and the issue have gone away. :victory:

As things are currently working OK, I'm going to stick with this for now.:fingers-crossed:

Are you using any audio processing lke viper4android? Sometimes elemental governor is not aggressive enough for audio with processing.

Did you try interactive governor?

Other than what is included in cm13, I've added nothing sound wise. There is something built into the ROM called audio fx which can't be disabled without hacking.

I didn't try interactive governor yet.

I have that split screen defect too, I should have returned it right away, as it happened the very first time I powered on the phone. But it doesn't happen that often with the interactive governor or in summer and I used the N6 as my daily driver for 11 months.

Hey boys,
I use a tool to elevate my zram size after the boot. I'd like to know if there is a parameter somewhere where I can put this size directly during the boot. elementalx.conf does not exist anymore sadly :(
If there is no way to do it in a conf file, I will end to write a little init.d script, but would to check before.
Thanks !

Updated my tablet yesterday and refreshed this kernel... For some reason there's no change in gpu or cpu clock speeds no matter what I set it to. Cpuz says I'm running the elementalx kernel but no change in clocks... I may flash back the stock kernel and try again. Twrp is bugging out sometimes at the end of the kernel flash the screen basically freezes into a smaller screen that won't respond... I have to power off reboot...

Edit: just tried an older version 4.0.6 I believe and it flashed with no problems... Clocks worked. Hmm....
