[KERNEL]░█░ Jeffrey-SpeedFrey 3.0.0 ░█░ Amazing battery life(!) & more (Update 21/08)

Mod Edit - Thread closed while under investigation

Hello guys,

It's my kernel for the SGS II.

I am very surprised with the battery life.

With my own experience (with Batista ROM, the best for me): The battery is still 100% after 8 hours sleep (wifi ON, data ON)

The kernel works very great. Stable, fast, no reboot or freeze. Tested with some roms. Stress test successfully done without reboot or freeze.

The kernel has these frequencies: 1204 / 1150 / 1100 / 1000 / 800 / 500 / 200 mhz. Compatible with SetCPU (auto detect).

IMPORTANT

For versions 2.2.0 and lower : there are 3 versions. Release Version, Workaround Version and Stock Voltage Version.

For versions 3.0.0 and higher : there are 2 versions. Release Version and Workaround Version.

Try only Workaround Version or Stock Voltage Version if you have issues with Release Version.

You can install this kernel with Odin (in PDA) or CWM Zip installer (since 2.1.0).

AFTER the kernel has been flashed please calibrate your battery.

My goal: Battery life and Optimization.

More optimizations and options in the future. Kernel continuously updated.

Nice to have another Kernel Dev on board! I'll give your Kernel a try, will post results later on! :)

EDIT:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this one seems to be based on the t18b-Speedmod-Kernel by Hardcore! At least this is was the Kernel-Info says! You should mention that in your OP!!

The x3 version depends on the mobile phone(SGS II). You need to have a bit of luck with this version :)

Tried the x2 ...

Still hangs after a few minutes

Tried the x1 ....

Hung and Screen black as soon as an SMS came in ... perhaps something to do with BLN because I see the softkey lights still on.

hmmm

Which rom do you use? Maybe your phone don't like the under voltage....

    Please post your source code

    Looking for these too.

I'd like to request kernel sources?

I appreciate your effort trying to answer everyone their questions in this thread besides the most important one.

So I guess I'll request it again.

    Kernel sources please?

At risk of sounding redundant....POST YOUR DAMN SOURCE CODE THE GPL ISN'T JUST THERE FOR BEDTIME READING.
