Code: 7SE41686V3889463E

Love the updates, keep haxing Show-p1984 :)
Thank you very much!

I have InsertCoin 2.4.3-2 with Bricked Kernel v0.3. Do I have to wipe cache and dalvik before flashing v0.4 ?
Dalvik only needs to be wiped if you change .apk's. So the answer is no.
Since you are not loosing anything by it, it's always good to wipe /cache (even if it should work without it).

That's odd.
It mainly has all that .35 test#2 has + a few extra additions (e.g 2d performance push).
My phone runs with .45 test#1 since an hour, running benchmarks nonstop. No problems with abnormal heat, and it is really being stressed.
Could it be a placebo effect? =)
If somebody else could confirm that it would be awesome.
Is the sha code the same thing as md5?
Im trying to rule out some things and i downloaded .4 on my phone with my mobile connection.
Wanna check that to rule out it didnt get corrupted by a shabby connection:p

Nope, SHA1 is SHA1 is SHA1. Not MD5. ;)
There is a link behind the SHA1, which explains it very well.
Code:
SHA1 Checksum:	 0f92ed28d0d8dddbe5037faa06a600cc1fc9510f [URL="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SHA-1#Official_validation"]What's this?[/URL]

Is there any particular reason to remove smartassv2 governor?
The only governor running without a flaw is ondemand. That's why I excluded smartassv2 in the default build, but if you look @#1 you will see that there is a version which includes smartassv2. So feel free to choose it ;)

Agreed, i never use smartassv1 or v2 as they don't actually work as expected and I never noticed any battery improvements. Only more lags than usual!

Yep,i tried informing some devs about their integration of smartass v2 kernels they lag a lot,but often left unheard...especially when they modified the stock kernel with smartass v2 which made me headache and cant replace with entirely atock kernel...fortunately theres a dev like you that understands stability means everything...cant wait to try on your extreme-bricked kernel with ultra low voltage...thanks man!

Exactly my point of view.
Since we need to use our phones everyday and rely on its stability, it's always a pain in the ass if someone prefers some fancy stuff > stability... (no one meant in particular)

#############################################

for those who feel lucky today:
Bricked-v0.45-TEST#1-1536-192-ondemand-preemptible.show-p1984.zip
Code:
* Updated Kernel base to 2.6.35.14
( 247 changed files with 1,846 additions and 754 deletions )
* Tweaked preemptive settings
* Added NTFS support
* Added Userspace driven configuration filesystem
* Updated Wifi driver
* Improved Mobile Connection
* Updated USB driver
There will be no first post entry and no support for this test kernel. It's the very first build after applying those changes. Since some of these are massive changes it needs time to prove its stability / performance.

If you want to help me test that, go ahead! But don't ***** about xyz is not working why and how can you fix that. Just say what is not working, and if it's important for you revert back to latest stable.
Thank you.
