Anyone here able to compare this to fauxs cm7 kernels? I am on cm7 version 1 with fauxs kernel.

Matt
this kernel is an ALPHA.. so there is a few bugs... i do like being able to actually clock up to 1.72 (a known stable point for me) where as was limited with fauxes to 1.67... cf-bench good scores comparable with faux... antutu crashes before beginning... voltages are there for undervolting ability

edit: im on CM7 ALPHA 4 aswell

check kmobs google+ account for a link to alpha4. It's just an attempt to fix the crazy issues that some folks had after alpha2. Really, a2/a3/a4 are all the same with the exception of some slight tweaks to try and stop drop call issues iirc.

Same combo as me. Tried 3/4 but I never had the call drop issues so nandroid restored back. For now I'm liking the faux kernel + faux clock app combo.

Tbh could feel zero difference between alpha 4 with bricked and alpha 1 with faux in terms of user experience, excepting the fact bluetooth isn't working on bricked yet.

Gaming isn't an issue on kang 1, it broke from kang 2 onwards.

I would suggest updating is not necessary unless you are getting the call issues on kang 1.

Ive had zero problems with Alpha1 as well. There was this one problem, but it went away (for now) after flashing back and forth a few times.

I guess we are surely blessed not to have any issues...I feel bad for all the others that cannot use their phone as a phone. :)
