Why max freq big core cpu 1747Mhz ?

Other Kernels have it at 1440 little, 1804 big. That's probably why they're asking but last time I checked, MIUI has the same frequencies as your Kernel.

What do you mean with AOSP roms? it should work with any custom rom running 7.1.1, I assume most, if not all, are somewhat based on LineageOS's code

I just checked and NOS is somewhat based on CM (or Lineage as it is known nowadays)

I printed you the output from the terminal, that's what it ships with, I didn't change it.

Fingerprint scanner is very slow in all Nougat based roms.
@ times it doesn't even respond to it, not even a haptic feedback if incorrect finger or anything, which is quite annoying. This is related to kernel i believe.
I guess @MEGAX91 has a commit to boost fp unlocking (a bit).

I used fk on gt n7000 loooong back and it was amazing!

I know about those commits, I made them myself. They won't do anything if the scanner doesn't pick up your finger, sounds like a firmware issue, not Kernel driver.

Nope. It's not native so I'm not gonna add it. Same policy as any other device I support.

I tried on NOS and fp not working, not sure if it's rom issue or not cause it don't compatibility with others kernel at all.

Tried with thestrix LOS with goodix_N fix, permissive selinux and it's also not working.

guess what.. I had purchased the paid version of the Franco Kernel Update Manager app looong ago when i had the Nexus 4. After I retired that phone i completely forgot about that purchase.. until today when I was super pleased to see Franco support the Redmi Note 3 and I was able to use the paid app again!!

Quick question - I am currently on the latest version of Nitrogen OS which is based on 7.1.2. I am more than willing to try this on that but wanted to double check if I will run into some major problem if i try to flash it and it doesn't support 7.1.2 yet
