The 1.6ghz version hqd your tab stuck for 30 minutes or so? That's weird. The kernel's thread does have people reporting success, like myself, qnd failure...it sucks and I'm sorry
Boot loop for me aswell with the 1.6 versio.
1.8 versions also don't work-they block the WiFi functionality....

celtic. I'm sorry to read this. I've always had success. On the 1.8 version, did you go into the WIFI settings and change the region to US? I don't think that's the fix, but it might be. If my memory serves me right, there's some sort of wifi fix somewhere in the thread for the kernel. I might be wrong, but it won't hurt to check.

Man Thanks!
It worked so far by following these steps:

Solution:

Flash ROM+ GAAPS
REBOOT
ENGLISH LANGUAGE + USA SETTINGS TO WIFI(NOT EUROPEAN).

THEN RECOVERY--FLASH KERNEL
AND......REBOOT

AND WORKS FANTASTIC!!!!!!

THANKS man for reviving this pretty old machine!

Wait... I've used the ROM for weeks after flashing before flashing the custom kernel. Could this be it? Should I do a clean install, and reboot and flash the kernel after?

When the kernel gets installed is irrelevant. If the 1.8ghz version gives you problems, try the 1.6. If that fails, amd you can do a clean install of all, go for it.
It's important for all of us to accept that the kernel has worked for some and failed for others with the exact same device. In other words, it's not guaranteed to work on a device. It sucks, I know, but that's what has been reported.

Hi folks,
Does anybody have the original T310.kerNoleOC-1.6.img file lying around please? Androidfilehost gives me a "oops, no mirror found"
The 1.8v4 kernel boots but gives me a highly unstable tablet, the 1.6v4 gets stuck at the boot logo.
I've reflashed the original kernel from the LineageOS 14 zip, but I would like to give the plain 1.6 version a try.
Thanks in advance.

I think that I might still have it in the tablet. I'll look in a few
