Yea I'm not sure, to be honest I have never had that issue either. Maybe try clearing SetCPU from SU permissions, then uninstall and re install it.

Okay so I think I may have figured it out. The problem was when I turned off my Xoom it would drop the mhz down to 216, but then would never go back to 1.5ghz. So I created a profile that told the max and min to be 1.5 when screen goes off. So far so good.

Wow this kernel is looking great! Good work TDR and Steady. I've been busy with the rom recently and haven't had much time for kernel work. I may just run LP for a few days and give it a test drive :p:D

Thank you very much:D

As a general note, please review the changes made to the voltage table.

Are both of you coming from Tiamat 1.4.4?
hey Steady Hawkin,

just wanted to confirm that like the others before me, it won't go past the moto dualcore screen on stock wifi 3.1 (without the verizon images.. just pure stock wifi 3.1)
flashing on top of the tiamat rom, however works.

hope the information helps you and TDR :)

Hi, yes i am on stock 3.1 with the language pack installed and tiamat 1.4.4 kernel with stock gpu....

I'd very much like to try your kernel, but as said before i get stuck at the motorola logo after flashing your kernel with or without add ons.

What do you suggest?

Thanks guys, were working on a fix. In the meantime can someone who is having issues please adb shell into your Xoom when it gets stuck at the dual core screen? (You may need to wait a minute before it works)

Enter:

Code:
setprop hc.filesystem.ready 1
and see if it continues booting.

Thanks for your support!!!

To the people who are coming from stock 3.1 or Tiamat 1.4.4, if you do not have busybox installed you will get stuck at splash screen. Should have a fix in the next release.

Ok thanks.

More importantly (at least for me), does your kernel work with flash videos embedded in a web page? For me, only the stock 3.1 kernel does not cause those to crash (especially when rotating between portrait and landscape).

Simple test is to open up Engadget.com in the browser, drill down in to any of the articles that has a video, and try to play it in full screen. All of the kernels I've tried so far (except stock which works fine), cause the video to pause when you rotate the display, and then subsequently FC. Afterwards, I often get other strange behavior in the browser until I reboot. Looks like an Adobe flash problem, but it does work fine with the stock kernel...

Well I have no such issues with the latest launchpad kernel. Rotating my xoom wifi is fine while the embedded YouTube video is playing. Full screen and non full screen.

Been running LP since release no issues whatsoever! Anyone having success with UV? If so how low are you able to go and what app are you using?
