Should be. Others are running CSK on various N ROMs and liking it. Try it out.
Just remember to backup ROM or at least boot.img so you have something to fall back on.

LG G3 D851, LiquidSmooth v4.1 ROM, MultiROM, Tapatalk 4.9.5

Installed v9, but I don't see all governor, I only see

- governors:
interactive
ondemand
conservative
powersave
userspace

Did I do something wrong?

I solved it, for some reason it did not flash the first time, had to flash it again.

@CrazyGamerGR Here is a log I pulled today. Running on AICP 3/23 build with your most recent version of CSK. Random shutdown.

I looked at the last kmsg log, and it shows a "uei_irrc_shutdown" right before the restart. Also saw some errors regarding i/o - so I'm not sure if that is the real reason, I don't really know how to read all this study :) hope it helps!

Hi,

i had problems with tethering USB.
I use last LINEAGE 7.1.1 and it works if i use the stock kernel but stop working if flash CrasySuperKernel.

LogCat try to activate rndis0 that isn't exist and the error is:
TetherInterfaceSM: Exception enabling Nat:java.lang.illegalStateException: command '160 nat enable rndis0 rmnet0 1 192.168.42.0/24' failed with '400 160 nat operation failed (No such device)'

In version 20032017 the error was nat enable rndis0 wlan0 1 192.168.42.0/24 failed

Any help?

Hi - I'm new to this kernel, in fact I'm new to custom kernels in general. I'm using CSK with zzmove governor and profile 3. I seem to have trouble making the max cpu stick at 1.9Ghz. Is this due to the governor profile I'm using or should I still be able to change the max CPU? Any info would be very appreciated :)

Hey guys, I'm new to the tech stuff, could anyone please help me understand what Kernel is? What will flashing this on my device help me with?

I have currently flashed Fulmics on my G3 (have to admit im going to switch soon) but how does a custom Kernel help? Any help is appreciated!

Start with Google and read up on it. That is best place to start.

Search XDA/Google! I've search an in 15 seconds:
What is a kernel?

Next time search.

Love this kernel for battery life but i have an issue with the inbuilt mic level. It's very low and i cant crank it anywhere. If I set a value in sound it just returns to 0 when I go in and out of the page so presumably it's not setting anything. I do get a flash error (3 I think) under twrp but rest of kernel seems ok. Any help greatly appreciated.

You might get lucky with another member being able to help, however this kernel is under a revamp by the OP. Since the last version was nearly 4 months ago.

If no one can help, don't get discouraged. With a new version on the horizon at some point you can try it again and see if it was fixed.

Don't ask the same question in different threads!

Also, this kernel is not for stock or stock based ROMs. So, it wont work with Fulmics.

lol u gotta chill man.. im just trying to be 100 % sure for steps im taking cus i dont wanna brick it.. did i bother u ?

Why asking the same question in multiple threads? You wont get more sure asking the same question in different places. You just have to search first, read, and then, if you don't find what are you looking for, ask once. Imagine if everyone ask the same question in all the threads? It will be like spam.

Also, in the XDA Forum rules:
5. Create a thread or post a message only once.

As a large forum, we don't need unnecessary clutter. You're free to edit your message as you like, so if you do not receive an answer, revisit your message and see if you can describe your problem better. Not everyone is online at the same time so it might take a while before you receive an answer.

His reasons for answering the way he did was valid. He is not ticked off for no reason but I'm sure that can change. Quit telling people to chill.
Specific fast answers? That's not how it always works. If you're a noob then you need to read and research so you can learn and know. Asking a bunch of questions and hoping to be spoonfed everything is not going to help you.

If you have no idea what you're doing then stick with the kernel the ROM came with and see how things go. Then in the meantime you learn up on the kernels. All kernels are configurable to some extent so you don't need another one to try a few tweaks.

But here's the deal. Pay attention to what the veterans and the experienced tell you. Do away with that child-like, dismissive attitude. I doubt that your pants are flame retardant. You have been warned.

I have bad news for CrazyGamerGR.
After his fights in xda ,he decided to quit.Yesterday it was the final hit,as when he had been tring to talk to a senior moderator for two years, to get him to become RC.They ended up arguing as CrazyGamerGR could't hold up his anger as it was not fair because he had done a lot of work.
So after five years of working in xda and losing perminantly his chance to be RC,he gave up.

    Here comes me
Hello everyone ,i am one of the teamates of his group and i am here to continue his great work.
I had in the past helped him out ,but i am not as experienced as him.
I will give my best shot to continue his work.I will try hard and see if i can in any way find him and get him to help me.
He was so nice that he actually gave me his github(we had work together for long)i didn't have time to write in xda so i helped him in github.
I must say that from him i learned a lot, even fixing bugs and so much more.
Thanks to him and his help ,i will not give up on him and from now on i will continue his work,or as he said his dream.

Talking about my work,i will sellect some kernels as i am not so experienced .I will help out anyone that needs help.I am here to help ,not to fight and not to make my name go down as what happened with my very good friend and still for me my leader of our team.

If u use zzmove governor disable all the hotplugs coz it use its own hotplug as anyone knows.

[Q]How i select profile from kernel tweaker app?
[A]You need to go in governor tunable-profile number and select the number of the profile from the list.

    Zzmove profiles

1 ) Default -> will set governor defaults

    2 )ybat -> Yank Battery -> a very good battery/performance balanced setting - DEV-NOTE: highly recommended!

3 )ybatext-> Yank Battery Extreme -> like yank battery but focus on battery saving

4 )zzbat-> ZaneZam Battery -> a more 'harsh' setting strictly focused on battery saving - DEV-NOTE: might give some lags!

5 )zzbatp -> ZaneZam Battery Plus -> NEW! reworked faster battery setting - DEV-NOTE: recommended too!

6 )zzopt -> ZaneZam Optimized -> balanced setting with no focus in any direction - DEV-NOTE: relict from back in the days, even though some people still like it!

7 )zzmod -> ZaneZam Moderate -> NEW! setting based on 'zzopt' which has mainly (but not strictly only!) 2 cores online

8 )zzperf -> ZaneZam Performance -> all you can get from zzmoove in terms of performance but still has the fast - down scaling/hotplugging behaving

9 )zzinz-> ZaneZam InZane -> NEW! based on performance with new insane scaling active. a new experience!

10 )zzgame-> ZaneZam Gaming -> NEW! based on performance with scaling block enabled to avoid cpu overheating during gameplay

Well, I know what was happening to him and a lot of XDA **** users and developers just were annoying him, I tried his kernel and when I looked at his github and his code written inside his kernel zips I just tell myself, why? That guy do a very nice work, I really liked his CrazySuperKernel and I was waiting for an update, well... We cannot avoid it tho, there's in XDA so many users that only wants that the developers releases a Kernel, ROM or Anything else without a bug or other stupid thing and Developers that doesn't want to help anyone and complain about "he stoled my work", I mean, I'm developing various kernels but I like others like Solid, Gamma or CrazySuperKernel that I use on my secundary ROM's

Anyway, for the G3 I'm glad that we have a very friendly comunity that keeps me motivated, not like the ONE comunity, there is so many users that complains about a simple "Bug" and demand to be fixed like they paid for it, that's why so many developers moved to Google+

Also, I'm now very experienced at Kernels building, Linux command line, Shell scripts and C language (a bit), if there's something that you need to know or you need help just PM me or join my LG G3 Development telegram group in my Artx Kernel thread, I'll be happy to help you so you can bring alive again CrazySuperKernel :)
