Firsttt of all for custom kernels you need unlocked bootloaderDear All & @ nikhil18,
I have the following configuration:
Bootloader:Locked (I do not wish to Unlock it, as of now)
Rom: Existenz v.3.00
I have flashed the .292 version of kernel.
Now my question is:
1. What is the difference between the autosmp and intelliplug version?Which saves more battery?
2. There are 3 files on this page:http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/?id=6756#downloads
Which files do i need to Flash among these 4 files? And in what sequence?
3. Is Dual Recovery possible on this kernel OR can i flash it through the command prompt as we do for installing the dual recovery after rooting the .283 version?
Please help. I am new to flashing Custom Kernels. So,please cooperate.I have already gone through earlier posts and would appreciate of someone can explain from the start (basics of this kernel flashing)!
Thanks
Regards![]()
I have the exact same problem. How can I solve it? I can't even get it in fastboot or recovery.... The LED just flashes red thrice.I flash it on existenz v3 and the display didin't turn on after reboot.Anyone with the same problem.
You need to make sure that your phone is totally off. Power button and volume +. Charge it,leave it. Then after charging, enter to flashmode then flash ftf and root it again. Or if your lucky you can enter fastboot then flash boot.img hodor kernelI have the exact same problem. How can I solve it? I can't even get it in fastboot or recovery.... line 1609 exfat unmounted succesfully
and line 1676 my fat32 formatted sdcard is mounted again (cuz i inserted back in)

Next time, whenever u face a bug, something broken or missing, on any ROM or kernel: grab a log and post it. Otherwise the dev cannot fix it. (Especially in this situation, when the dev doesn't even own this device)I don't know what went wrong but when I flashed this kernel 2-3 weeks ago it was broken and now it works. So sorry and thanks for great kernel!![]()
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/yuga download this boot.img then download android terminal emulator https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm&hl=deHow I can add TWRP into this kernel?
Thanks! Got it working againYou need to make sure that your phone is totally off. Power button and volume +. Charge it,leave it. Then after charging, enter to flashmode then flash ftf and root it again. Or if your lucky you can enter fastboot then flash boot.img hodor kernel
U can try the 292 boot.img. I know it's newer ramdisk but I'm on 283 also and I use the 292 since yesterday. Although the 283 img should boot fine.Okay, so I flashed the boot.img via fastboot. it didn't boot, screen stays black but vibrates when you switch it on
I'm on existenz 3.0.0 C6603 (which uses stock .283 kernel)
i just reflashed the stock kernel ftf (.283) and it worked again
Waiting for an update![]()
