Hmmm.... are you having a glass screen protector or something like that because mine works normal on the default gpu governor which is interactive with dt2w on but s2w off.
Not a glass screen protector but a normal one, on top of Sony's shatterproof protector.
I only have this issue when on kernel's that support dt2w and s2w and it happens only sometimes, when phone was in pocket and phone feels quite hot.

I've tried several things: washing my hand's, washing my screen, turn screen on/off several times, letting it rest for few hours, but only way to get it back to normal is to hard reset then.

Also, when this happens, the screen does see touches, but I get crazy things like statusbar opens only 1 centimetres and hangs there :p this problem is not really kernel specific I think cuz I had this on several kernel's and all of them supported dt2w and s2w.

Although, I'm glad for you you didn't experience this :p

Which screen do you have? Mine is a JDC, it could be you have a sharp display and that could make some difference also I think..

I'm having a JDC screen too bro. Maybe it is related to hardware ...?

You mean on version 1 for stock? Yes. On lightning for cm I don't remember good enough to be sure but I think it had also.
Maybe, if u want, u can make one, same version as this but completely without dt2w and s2w. I don't use it, so I can test if problem still occurs.
(Although I switched today to ondemand GPU gov, so let's test that first cuz it didn't happen today :p)

Hmm I don't think so, cuz u don't have this problem right? And u have the same screen.
Besides, when using a kernel without dt2w and s2w I don't have this problem and also nikhil18 just wrote he even experience it on his ZR.(don't know if different screens are used but I don't think it's hardware related because of this)

Can you check if your WiFi MAC address has changed? It seems to be an issue for some people around here(including me), but I dont think there's a solution for that other than using another kernel(hodorkernel has problems with mac for me as well).
Yes it has been changed. I added this mac to the macfilter of my router and now it works.

Finally, I've found some time to check your suggestion regarding wifi MAC issue. In the end, I've deleted WCNSS_qcom_wlan_nv.bin from zip with kernel. Everything works great after flashing modified zip.

I'm using dt2w with gpu gov set to ondemand with no issues so far. I'm also using a screen protector - not a glass one. Some time ago, using another kernel I've experienced such a problem, but not now. Weird.

@nikhil18
I'm rid of the problem ATM by using ondemand GPU gov. (At least till now *couch*)
But the kernel logs are a little bit spammed with GPU VOLTAGE 1000000 and GPU VOLTAGE 1100000.
Even with screen off GPU seems to be ramped up to highest frequency when using ondemand GPU gov.
Other than that, everything is great!

Bro so use interactive governor because I don't think it can cause touchscreen to not respond because this same kernel is being used in cm and no one has faced this problem yet

All right will do.
BTW u may want to add this:

echo 1 > /sys/android_touch/sweep2wake

And

echo 1 > /sys/android_touch/doubletap2wake

To the script, so users don't have to write theirselfses or don't have to use an app for that.
So should I separately upload a flashable zip for the script

Yes.
1. Disable mpdecision if u wanna control CPU clocks (by any way u prefer, google it or go to system/bin/ and rename "mpdecision" to "mpdecision.old" and reboot)
2. Turn off double tap to wake and sweep to wake :D
same for me, i can't control the cpu settings too.im trying follow your advice but i can't find the mpdecision file in " system/bin ", and i cant setting gpu too on faux kernel app, the app freeze.
i'm i missing something ?
first i fastboot stock kernel 292 via flashtool, then i flash zip from recovery. can some one help me
Thanks
