When is the r4 expected to come out. The r3 unfortunatelly give me a lot of lagging when scrolling it is very annoying I have tried to change the settings, governors nothing fix the lag so i assume it is just the kernel itself..... I did not have the issue with the stock kernel. My device is mi4 the rom that i am using is dirty unicorns rom.

K guys i released R4 but its important you know a few thing before you complaint its a bug
the thermals solution is not really support by kernel auditor n it doesnt work like franco thermals which polls from the normal tz sensors which you see via apps.
The new thermal solution polls using internal Powermanger (PMIC) sensor so if you see the freqs stuck at 1.72 1.57 1.26Ghz its the thermals doing its job
secondly pls dont clear the caches after you flash the kernel it will get you in a bootloop

guys i really recommend you to dirty flash the current rom you are on with the gapps n then the kernel dont clear the caches or else you may get into a bootloop, in that case you have to will have to dirty flash the rom and gapps clear the caches reboot the phone n get into the os then reboot to recovery n flash the kernel dont clear the caches n then reboot
It stuck at mi logo and blank screen after flashing r4 on mi4 without clearing cache..
this time it didnt work, black screen after install without cache clear ... i am on mi4 / nothing of the above recommendations has worked /

flash without dirty flash rom .. no cache clear .. everything is ok (mi4 broken os rom)
will you tell us the exact steps you did cause it seems some people do have succeed running the kernel some didnt i was not able to make it work ... please .. ?
download kernel ... boot into recovery ... flash kernel .. done .. reboot.

Well same situation previous kernel r3 did the same as you but i got to mi logo after that the phone shuts down ...
))) i did not have problems with r3 ... .. But I had a problem with r3 .. stuck in milogo .. I had to flash rom .. so after first boot .. flash r3 .... only then I had success with r3

CPU voltage - undervolt Global by 10mV
CPU Hotplug - Maximum CPU Online 3 with Max Xores Screen Off 1
GPU - Gov : simple_ondemand ( Max - 657Mhz : Min - 100Mhz )
I/O Scheduler - fiops
Screen - Saturation Intensity 50
Rest untouched
Request just do calibration and full complete cycle charge before posting stats.
Bcos your stats really matters for dev's future progress in development
( Note - It's not like that all get always same 7hrs+ SOT but after daily testing I got upto 6hrs SOT with moderate usage with quite good standby results. )
