hi @Tarun93
i have mi4w (16gb 3gb ram sony camera) r3 kernel works for my device instead r4 no, i have black screen after boot logo with r4 kernel(device logo not rom logo). I have to hold down the power button for more than 10 sec. to unlock the phone (device hard crash). I followed the instructions for installation( no wipe and clean install in miui and cm 12,1).
I hope you will fix this problem! if you need a kernel testers. I volunteer.
thanks for your work! :good:

Well the thread title says it does support, but real feedback comes from users. I'm not using mm at the moment.duh...... obviously......
should have explain it better. i meant, does it support ivan's MM build?
I think either way it doesn't matter because according to what I read yesterday, the ROM is still buggy a lot and not usable as a daily driver, so I wonder why even trying GK on it? Maybe outta curiosity, at most. I'd rather wait for MM to reach some more reasonable progress and then we can start debating about some real support, until then, it might or might not work, depending on the mood of the ROMWell the thread title says it does support, but real feedback comes from users. it's not that bad, i used it for a week without much issue(that made it unusable), except for battery life and gps not working, it's good enough. battery life is the reason i'm asking, the stock aosp kernel suck(even on lollipop). i'm not even debating, was just asking if GK R5 will work on Ivan's MM since the he rebased the kernel. it is just that some people prefer to simply assume rather than trying to understand the situation.I think either way it doesn't matter because according to what I read yesterday, the ROM is still buggy a lot and not usable as a daily driver, so I wonder why even trying GK on it?
