The Sadest thing i ever heard today
if a rom gets Discontinued its okay since kernel update might help the same rom to improve but since now the kernel is Discontinued :crying: nobody can help us now
Just to Let you known @rainforce279 you did an amazing work for such an old devices and let me known if you can help teach the development part so i can contribute to continue where you left

Push Reworking from fresh source

after my laptop got repaired so now i able to push reworking kernel
this from original Lineage OS source kernel tree with some aditional driver such as DT2w and some I/O schedulers.
tested with Aosp-Extended latest with android 7.1.2 no problem so far.
check at OP for more info.

i'll try but not promise since some rom still using busybox and other using toybox.
its really important to run init.d on boot, but we should try priority toybox or busybox ?
i'll also looking for some change in script at ramdisk too

- fix init.d execute on boot (Make sure your rom has installed busybox under side /system/xbin)
- add lionheart governor
- Upgrade Toolchain to official Linaro 5.4.1
- Kill ondemand governor to spawn uninterrupable even not selected as current governor

Yes I had busy box installed to /xbin
All the contents of init.d folder gets deleted after using this update
I wish I never requested you to add init.d support...
now on 27/05 build with init.d working with the flashable shared above...
Its OK not to add init.d support if its causing trouble...

Maybe busy box issue...
I'm using busy box 1.26.2 --meefik

I wish I never requested you to add init.d support...
now on 27/05 build with init.d working with the flashable shared above...

ah sorry for about that problem, all your script in init.d gone i truely dont know what happen, but the latest version of this kernel i never touch any file on system partition, so make sure you'r rom clean of any mod,
i've tested latest version init.d working with busybox installed in /xbin

yah i consern to this security too mate, sorry i've try, but so many conflict file and must resolve manual instead auto-merge, hopefully squid2 resolve this and bring to latest secury patch kernel, but it need time because squid2 is busy with other project, keep patient
if you found something usefull link for latest securty patch especial for kernel 3.4 just pm me

Just install stock boot.img of the current ROM
You can get it by extracting ROM zip
Reboot
Now you can install clarity over stock boot.img

Clean flashed and tried latest update still no luck...
I'm using magisk 13 (snapshot) (unofficial) may be magisk ramdisk patch overrides your init.d patch
But lucky the mod I mention saved me..
Now I'm on current update along with the mod
Init.d works fine..

No need to feel sorry I had backup of all init.d scripts luckily...?

And No offence I'm just sharing what I experienced...
Anyway a great thanks for your great effort...

Init.d works perfectly with SuperSU...(June 1 update)
Its causing problems with magisksu
So I'm now using SuperSU....??



EDIT: it was a magisk module that gave me headaches
Now every things works perfectly with both SuperSU 2.81 and MagiskSu
Also updated busybox to 1.26.2 --meefik
