Hi ex kernel. I did dirty flash my pure nexus rom and ex kernel after. Tried to edit mixer paths to boost speaker and headset volume. Did it twice but nothing happens. Speaker volumes still the same. Any help guys?
How are you able to use adb shell to push files to /system?
Code:D:\Downloads>adb shell shell@hammerhead:/ $ su 1|shell@hammerhead:/ $ mount -o remount,rw /system mount: Permission denied 255|shell@hammerhead:/ $
I'm running stock (factory image) 6.0.1. I want to be able to push files to /system because I am working on a few (Calendar and Messaging) apps that I am building from source and it's much more convenient to be able to quickly push them to system for a quick test as I make changes.
Edit: adb shell is now working in rot mode, I forgot that I had not granted su permissions to my PC yet. How to you push files with adb shell?

But isn't that the same as adb on a rooted device, which you would need for adbd insecure anyway. I guess I was/am just confused what was being asked.
I noticed that the default value for Headphone power amp gain is 2. Is this the device default or faux's default?
I'm using Chroma rom with Elementalx 6.12 and I'm still experiencing the frequent crackling and popping sound. Is it possible to adjust this to remove the sound.
btw thanks for the hard work developer ^_^
Hello all, it's been a while since I've been on the forums. Anyway I have a question about systemless root. It says to flash SuperSU then flash ElementalX, but I thought for systemless root you had to flash the kernel before SuperSU. So I flashed ElementalX then I flashed SuperSU (I forced systemless with "echo SYSTEMLESS=true>>/data/.supersu") and so far everything seems okay. Why is it advised to flash SuperSU before ElementalX and are there any negative implications to doing it in the reverse? Thanks.

You might not be running ElementalX.
Basically it's not that different from the past. You root your phone, and then flash ElementalX. Once your phone is rooted, don't flash SuperSu again or it will revert to the previous kernel (I don't know why Chainfire chose to do that, must be a failsafe or something).
you can upgrade / update LOL

I have no idea@flar2, I'm trying to build Beanstalk (CM-13) with your kernel. What changes do I need to make for it work with CM-13? This is for personal use. Any help would be great.
