I am positive.

The systemless methods modify the boot.img. An OTA will update the boot.img, so the mods will be gone, requiring a re-flash. It's obvious if you understand how the mods work ;).
Thank you very much for all the explanation. But that doesnt mean I have to havestock boot.img to perform OTA? It will be overwrutten anyway, correct? :)

Edit: just saw your other post about boot img :)

So what are the benefits of systemless root/xposed?
I thought this is the only argument for systemless variants.
Perhaps we should be talking about this in a relevant thread and not spamming off-topic here?

Maybe create one and mention me so I can reply there?
@flar2

Sorry for the off-topic discussion.

yes but i dont think it would take much time judging that 1.55.709.5 source was uploaded in no time at all

anyway the 1.80 is a really important update for the HTC 10, it has fixes all over the board, so european users got it all in one go

from the camera, to battery, to LCD brightness, thermals and battery consume, its just better all across the board

its worth the wait

Any ETA on a 1.80 based Kernel?
As said before sources aren't released yet.

You can't rush art.

Additionally, this man is doing this on his free time, for our benefit, asking for an eta for something that isn't his job is rude.

On 1.80 firmware and rom and there are perceptible differences. I cannot wait til @flar2 gets to it.

I already asked HTC for it, but all I got was a canned response from HTCHelp. Hopefully they're at least working on it.

Man I remember you from the OneXL and using your Audio mods lol. Glad to see you back on the HTC side

Yeah, that those days were wild days but enjoyable. I would never run someone's else kernel but.... since I don't have the time to concentrate and update my knowledge on kernel I have to pick someone's kernel. I'm going to fork this kernel and BOOOOOST it, but it's hard to find free time trying to be a psychiatrist and crazy gf.

Don't worry. I'll get crazy audio going when I get the time in between life, school, and more school.

To be on topic, I flashed this kernel on top of the Elite_PME_M-06_08_2016 and all seems well.

I hope they'll release the source soon because I can't wait to use this on my HTC. Thanks for all the good work!
