Thanks all for the warm welcome. I thought I would try OnePlus this time around, since many had been asking for it.

Will is be avaiable for aosp and cm Roms ?

That depends how much they change from the stock kernel. I will be staying close to stock and I don't plan to release multiple versions of the kernel just to work with cm.

How is this phone compare to htc 10? Please I need your advice @flar2
I need to use it for a few days before I comment on that. For now, I will just say that the HTC 10 replaced the 6P as my daily driver, and I really really liked the 6P.

How do I go back to the stock kernel?
For the time being, I make no modifications to /system partition, so you can simply restore your boot.img from backup, or fast boot flash the stock boot.img.

flar2...I have always used your kernels. Excited to have you here.

its been a while though since I had the iphone for a stint now...you offer sound control typically right?

So will dash charging be available with this kernel...or is there a conflict with not having certain kernel sources?

thanks

I was thinking of phasing out sound control, since there are better non-kernel mods you can install. We'll see.

About dash charge, apparently they didn't share the necessary source or drivers. I'm not too impressed with how they handle the Wi-Fi driver either. I was hoping not to have to deal with this kind of bs.

I just use the sound control for volume boost. The one plus phones are always so low to me.

Hi flar2, used to use your kernel on my n5! glad to see you here, could I get your opinion on something, If I'm looking to get an android now, would you recommend me to get the Nexus 6P or the Oneplus 3 now?
Thanks, hope you'll answer this post! :)

If I'm not mistaken then OxygenOS is based on AOSP, so this kernel should theoretically work on other AOSP based ROMs, right?

Definitely. Although it seems to be there already. Unfortunately it's the same as Max brightness on the slider (i.e., not bright enough). I'll see if I can improve it.
So far I've been unable to make the HBM mode brighter. I think this screen with HBM only gets about half as bright as the Nexus 6 and 6P with HBM.
Anyways, I will update High Brightness Mode Widget soon to support this device. At least you'll be able to force HBM it when you want it.
