According to DevCheck:

Stock maxes around 3400mA

Custom maxes around 1800mA

That's not cool at all, I thought OnePlus was trying to developer friendly...
They will release the kernel sources for dash charging by the end of july ;) i bet you will integrate them to your awesome kernel huh?? :D good to see you here!

I know it's not supported but for anyone on CM13 I gave it a go. On the A3000 I didn't have WiFi. Just thought I'd let anyone considering testing it what I found.
Not surprised, WiFi is going to be problematic on this phone. They've built the driver as a module and did not release the source.

Right now I just hacked the kernel so the stock module will load, because I don't want to modify the system partition and break OTAs.

The WiFi driver source is sort of available from CAF, but we don't know if they've added any proprietary stuff to it or which config options are used.

It makes me wonder what else could be different or missing in the source code that has been released.

You guys should bug OnePlus to release their source properly. As it is, I'm not impressed and this will be the last OnePlus device I buy.

Thanks for the info Flar, very interesting.
OnePlus infuriate and sadden me with these source problems.
We all went through this last year and i ended up selling my OP2 after the dev exodus when it became apparent we couldnt get out of it what we wanted.
I feeling a little duped buying this phone at launch after their very promising press release ensuring they were going to look after devs this year, slowly we are learning its not quite what they promised.
I will certainly put some pressure on them to keep their word this year and i hope everyone else does too. I do have some hope though that things will work out or at least get better.
You are an amazing dev Flar2, ive been using your kernels for longer than i can remember and they provide the perfect stable base for all my personal builds. I hope that this can all be worked out and that you continue this year and next to work with OnePlus devices because their hardware is so great.
Keep up the good work.

Anyone notice that the vibration of the navkeys isn't always working? I get most of the times no vibration at all. Back on stock kernel vibration works properly again.

Works for me. I haven't changed anything that would affect that.
I can only report what I notice. Flashed your kernel now 3 times and went back to stock, and anytime I'm on your kernel the vibration problem exists. I noticed that it also happens on the on-screen navbuttons and also when you want to unlock your phone by pin code which usually gives vibration as feedback.

Well, there's nothing I can do about it. I'm just using the source provided.

Honestly, I'm about to send this phone back.
