NO.Is this compatible with Viper 4G 4.0.0?
Unlikely. The kernel source for the new (4.13.651.4) update has not been released. You can try it but there is a strong chance it will turn your phone into a fancy expensive paper weight. Is this compatible with Viper 4G 4.0.0?
Hey. Go for it. But I'm telling you now...you're probably gonna end up with a black screen that never turns on again. Thanks Capt. What about ElementalX-m7-Sprint-13.1?
You do realize that our device is NOT the "m7" right?Ha, Ha. No, please don't uproot me Capt. I can understand that version of Bulletproof not being compatible, but the reason I asked about "ElementalX-m7-8.4" & "Bulletproof-m7-8.1" is because they're for "Sense 5.5 / Android 4.3" & Viper4G 4.0.0 is "Sense 5.5 / Android 4.3". Gonna miss Tap/Swipe-To-Wake.
(Sorry I put "ElementalX-m7-Sprint-13.1" in my original post, that was a miss copy/paste. "ElementalX-m7-Sprint-13.1" is for Android 4.4/4.4.2.)![]()
Kernels are dependent on the device, not the Android version. Otherwise, we wouldn't have to port roms if the screen resolution is the same between the two devices.Yeah, I know Capt. Just thought I'd ask about them since they both run the same Sense & Android version. One can hope.
Ah Ha, & the light-bulb comes on.Kernels are dependent on the device, not the Android version. Otherwise, we wouldn't have to port roms if the screen resolution is the same between the two devices.
Kernels are only run on the device that they were built/ported for.
