Good job, but how can I remove this kernel if I need or want to? So I know how to install it and use it. But how should I proced to remove this kernel saving my ROM and data?
You can flash the boot.img file of your rom (which can be found by extracting the rom zip).

You have to flash it in the boot partition.
And you will have to re-root your device after flashing the boot.img.
But all your modules will come back as soon as you flash the magisk.zip (if you use magisk for root)

Why would I remove Spectrum support? It's working fine here. Reflash the kernel and switch SELinux to Permissive. And I cannot add support schedutil because I haven't added EAS support in kernel and I have no plans for doing it.
Already tried reflash ROM boot.img, then flash EB Kernel., SELinux to Permissive.
Problem still not solved. I've checked with root explorer, spectrum file is not missing. But, app still not recognized them.
BTW. I on AEX O.

Hi everyone !

Need some advice.
I upgraded on PIE LoS from Nougat RR with clean install. I am using this kernel since ever with ex kernel manager and never had an issue. Now I notice that no matter witch governor I choose Max + Min CPU Frequency always stay same... Is this pie issue through Battery saver and Performance or am i doing something wrong?

Thanks for your answer but this doesn't help find the problem,because I will have to know the setting (Min - Max) for every governor...

Every governor has some preset set points by the developer . In my case if I change governor I see no changes on CPU FREQUENCY...
You suggest to manually change the settings that I want and use the "apply on boot" button (on-off). The problem is that I don't know which is the preset CPU FREQUENCY for each governor...

Almost all the kernels set min freq to 652 and max to 2016 (non oc) for all the governers. Some set the max to 1804 for saving more battery. That's it, rest depends on the behavior of the governor, like performance locks the freq at 2016 mhz (that is why not tunable).

Devs tweak the interactive governor but they rarely set different min-max frequencies for each governor as default.

There's no boot.img in kernel zip. You can get stock boot.img from ROM zip, flash it, and then flash the kernel...

    Announcement!​

    Hey everyone, Sorry for my inactivity from past few days. I know you all are waiting for a new update with newer linux version, OV camera fix, gt9xx display driver and some other fixes and features. But the problem is TIME! I am not getting enough time as my exams are few days ahead from now. So I am not able to give time to the kernel. But yeah I started working on Treble build and the new update will land soon. So please have some patience. Well if you still want to use the newer version of kernel with all fixes then make sure to join Telegram group. Beta builds are already there with these fixes. I hope now you guys will understand why I am so inactive these days. Treble build will take some time for sure cause I will have to do everything from beginning.
