Tutorial for this partUseful scripts:
Here are some useful scripts which work with this kernel. Just download, extract and copy them into "/etc/init.d" folder:
- This kernel doesn't have zram enabled by default. Use this to enable 64mb zram swap:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/31230492/scripts/22swap2zram.zip- Our phones have a lot of free space in "/cache" partition, so you can use script by inteks to create a 64mb swap there. It is much faster than using SD card:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/31230492/scripts/11swap2cache.zip- The same with "/system". Here's a bit modified version of previous script, the only change is that it uses another partition:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330937Can i make 2 swap partition? I make it on /cache now? Can i make 2nd swap on /system?
Sorry for my english

you must unlock your bootloader first, there isn't other way mate..Hi there DuMOHsmol!
Thanks for this gr8t kernel that for me is the best really. I'm using the Viper Xperia V4 ROM found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2177179 and this kernel is highly suggested.
Problem is that I have a blocked bootloader by default so I can't obviously ever get into fastboot mode. Is there a "heavenly" way you can sort it so that I could install this beautifull kernel by CWM ONLY please?
I was on ICS 4.0.4 before Viper V4 and I continue on stock kernel.
Good on ya mate.
Hi there and thanks for your reply.you must unlock your bootloader first, there isn't other way mate..
Yes i know that, mine said that too. You can unlock it by unlock the SIM card (paid method).Hi there and thanks for your reply.
Some Bootloaders cannot be unlocked it does not matter what you do. It looks like you have an Xperia so have you ever seen this code? Try and follow it:
"When you type *#*#7378423#*#* and then Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status and If Bootloader unlock allowed says yes, there shouldn't be any problems! If there's no you can't unlock bootloader..."
And furthermore here is the full link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1841473 .
You shoul read it...its good information. So mine says "NO" and it means I can never unlock my Bootloader!
But thanks for your reply...you got my THANKS!
Ok then...so if I unlock the SIM to all operators [free] it actually changes the status of the Bootloader to unlockable [yes]?Yes i know that, mine said that too. You can unlock it by unlock the SIM card (paid method).
I used the wotanserver, cheap and easy![]()
Yes it does.Ok then...so if I unlock the SIM to all operators [free] it actually changes the status of the Bootloader to unlockable [yes]?
Can this be done by the mobile operator or online? Your recommendation is online correct?
yes!Does this kernel have VDD (custom voltage control) i'm asking because this is important for me.thanks for help
