I remember a long while ago, siyah kernel had screen wake issues I think it must have been like....4 months ago, it would randomly wake up. They got it fixed the next build though. Don't remember exactly what they said the problem was.

stevehkim posted the fix link on the 2nd page. Ktoonsez 3.5 version of Siyah just had it yesterday. He mentioned his fix and issued 3.5.1 shortly after.

Updated kernels! Wake lock issue should be resolved!

Also again please pm bugs or issues to use as well as logcats and dmesg logs or a detailed explaination of what you were doing and what the issue is :) thanks

Version name the same as last? ( DreamKernel-I777-v3.2.4) ?

transmitted from the Dark Obelisk
That version is the version of the the ACTUAL kernel and will not increment as we change the kernel unless we patch to the newest version or rebase to a new version. You will be notified of updates by the title and i will make a post each time. Stating what has been changed

Downloaded and flashed after you said this was fixed, still waking the screen automatically on my device...

This was my first flash if your kernel.

Then i'd download BetterBatteryStats. Charge then unplug and wait for a couple of hours then let us know what it says keeps waking your phone up. Also logcats will help as well. so please pm me a logcat and we shall see what we can do. The new kernel has fixed wake locks for myself so we wanna make sure its the kernel and not an app you may have installed. Also try going to Recovery > Kernel Options > Reset ExTweaks Profiles

I would be glad if u can provide a logcat and a dmesg output as well to us so we can have a look ? We addressed this issue already and it should be fixed

I am sorry guys, but I'm not a real "advanced" user, just flash stuff... for a little background, I typically run Fluxi and have no issues... I tried your kernel today after I saw the screen wake was fixed (as I had this problem on shun kernel by bgn) so once fixed, I downloaded and flashed as normal. I immediately experienced the issue so I rebooted but it remained. I then downloaded siyah as this supposedly had this problem but was recently fixed. Flashed it and immediately the problem went away. I didn't get a chance to reset extweaks in recovery, but I doubt that's the issue. I also believe it highly unlikely it's related to any apps based on the above. If I get a chance I will flash back to your kernel and see if I can get you any logcat or so. Otherwise I'll try your next version. Thanks for putting something out for us and hopefully I can be more helpful with debugging in the future.

Can u please send me a dmesg/logcat for further inspection of that issue

Please also try to enable/disable the lcd powersaving mode in extweaks and/or do a extweaks profile reset from within cwm

For logcat: Enable adb in settings >> Connect your phone to a computer >> Install the Android SDK if you dont have it or some other adb >> do adb logcat -v long >> Destinaton you want it saved/logcat.txt

For ExTweaks Reset: Boot to recovery >> Kernel Specific Options >> Reset ExTweak Profiles

Another way I recommend is to use BetterBatteryStats: Download and install BetterBatteryStats which can be find on XDA for free >> Charge up your phone >> Unplug and wait for wake locks. Once it does them check the BetterBatteryStats app and list what it says. You wanna check under Kernel Wakelocks & Partial Wakelocks :D
