It's a bug, if you check cpu frequencies you will see lower frequencies being used.

Must disable mpd?

Inviato dal mio Nexus 4 utilizzando Tapatalk
If you disable mpd, there will be no other hotplugging option available and your phone will run on all 4 cores at all times. If you're OK with that then disable mpd, if not leave it on and wait and see if ak adds other hotlplug options. ;)

the 210 kitkat is for nexus 5 rom based roms for n4? or can it be used with 4.4 stock roms?
Any 4.4 KitKat Roms. Be sure to dirty flash your ROM before flashing ak if you want your WiFi.

jtwebfusion did you use the n5 experience based on cm11 or the one based on stock 4.4?
edit: I just busted a ****it and tried it out with the stock 4.4 based n5 experience and it's working awesome including slide 2 wake :) wifi seems slower than 4.3 with ak kernel though weird

I noticed the kk kernels default minimum setting keeps getting set to approx1000mhz rather than 384 when I check in trickster, but it is in fact going lower. Not sure why.

Its because of MP decision. Its the hotplug driver. It boosts freq to 1026 on touch to help give that project butter goodness. It does scale down to 384 when there's no touch on the screen.. So no point lowering the frequency as it'll be going up anyway.

Thanks for the explanation. I'm not sure how much I like the way that works but I guess its not really effecting anything. However I'm using the conservative governor so I'm not sure it's supposed to jump to 1026000 so quickly.

Doesn't make a difference.. The touchboost is set to 1026 in MP decision. Tweaking the governor doesn't change that as far as I've seen. Just wait for ak to implement other hotplug alternatives, which he would if he feels that its necessary..

It stays at 384mhz as long as you don't touch the screen. Cpu goes to 1026mhz as soon as screen is touched. It stays there at 1026mhz & then comes down back to 384mhz if there's no activity.. it looks like it'll have a negative impact on battery but it's not like that. Battery life should be more or less the same if mpdecision is turned on or some other hotplug driver used..

v210 was a test release.
I want some feedback before publish official kernel.
thanks :D
Lol! I've been running it since you released it. Used it with gnome, aospa (unofficial sabermod version) and psx right now. No issues whatsoever. I am having a bit of suspend backoff wakelock.. Must be the play services location thingy.. Deep sleep and awake time are similar. Other than that its great. Right now I'm at 36% with 2hr screen time. Mostly on home WiFi, tapatalk, browsing etc..
