For me I can replicate it like this:

1. Fresh install of ROM or app. (Clearing data works)
2. Open and go to kernel settings.
3. Change value from 18 to 60 or 50 or anything that you like. I've tried with many higher values and the issue persists.
4. Flip the switch to set on boot.
5. Reboot and it works.
6. Go back into the app, change value from what you set it to before to anything else.
7. Reboot. Now it's not what you set it to either time, but 18 which is the default.

I get the toast notification every time so the app is running at boot. Hope this helps!

If this is indeed the way to reproduce, then I can see why I did not have the issue. When I use EXKM, changing any setting automatically removes the "Set on Boot" setting. With that in mind, I toggled "Set on Boot" in FKU when I changed settings after a reboot. Same as below.

I also checked against. After each change of any setting you do, you have to disable and re-enable the switch for applying on boot again, no matter if you did it already before. This way it works so it isn't really a critical issue.

Didn't for me. :b this update I uninstalled, re-flashed r8, cleared dalvik and cache and then installed the app to make sure everything would work as it should.

If the start screen of FKU tells that there is a new kernel version available and I hit "auto flash" or "download zip" simply nothing happens (i.e. when on r7). Of course, downloading the zip (r8) manually and flashing it in TWRP is working. Also, everything else seems to work fine. So what's the possible issue regarding the app? (I'm on latest stock 6.0.1, FK, FKU, SuperSU and TWRP)

Uh... I don't know. I use auto-flash every-time I release a new Kernel to make sure everything is working, and it is. The code hasn't changed in years and always worked. So I dunno.

Yes. There's probably other info somewhere about it, but, don't quote me on this, not rooting goes a long way to make sure Android pay works.

Are you going to stay on the stock ROM? If so, AP works for me with FK. Here are the steps:

- Unlock bootloader, root (systemless), flash custom recovery, flash kernel all per the instructions in the link here.
- Follow the instructions here on how to get AP to work.

- Update/refresh the widget after a reboot. As of now, none of the performance profiles is highlighted after a reboot.
- Reduce the size of the widget. 3x3 seems a little big, could it fit in 3x2? (very optional request, of course)
