Try disabled all module
It is automatic outdoor mode switching it off. Used to be able to set it to always outdoor mode in AICP, but that setting has not come to pie yet. Check with your ROM developer for that.I have a question that is bothering me from some months if not years (same issue on nougat {i skipped oreo}) . Why when you activate automatic high brightness mode in the app it's working perfectly, but then, after some minutes it stop working? If you reopen fk app it starts to work again.
I tried to systemize the fk app in the priv folder , and it's also in the battery optimization exclusions but the result is the same
You have to be rootedHello all,
Just a silly que..
So N6 should be rooted for installation on Francokernel.
Now after I flash the kernel, & battery life is extended...
Can I unroot my phone? Or Do I need to keep the root?
Noob question.but want to try , so just confirming ?
Actually, I believe you can run the kernel workout root. Even flash it from twrp without root. But you'll be unable to change any kernel setting. And then what's the point? It's the settings that make FrancoKernel fun.Hello all,

Thank you for this @runekock, I will try this soonActually, I believe you can run the kernel workout root. Even flash it from twrp without root. But you'll be unable to change any kernel setting. And then what's the point? It's the settings that make FrancoKernel fun.
Better to root with Magisk and then use Magisk hide to hide root from those apps that care. Generally, Magisk makes _more_ apps run than unrooted with anything custom flashed.

Via twrp file manager, delete the app. Or if it doesn't come pre-rooted, dirty flash Pixeldust and uninstall FKM. Reflash root and kernel, reinstall FKM.Hey guys... i undervolted using the FKM app and then now i can't get the screen to turn on...
if i reboot it is fine till the settings are applied(i think) how do i reset FKM/prevent it from applying the settings on startup?
i already tried re flashing and wiping caches etc... it was fine till i opened the app to change the settings. it got applied again... and i can't turn my screen on..
any Suggestions?
I was/am on Pixeldust default kernel.
I think its your battery.Would be great if upgraded for an Android 10 kernel. Currently using the CrDroid 6.6(10.0) ROM, and everything is fine except the battery. This kernel is best for battery saving.
Hi all!
I have a question, quoting from the first post of the thread.
"Builds (starting with r65 up to r75) are Android 7.1.1 Nougat March 2017 security patchset, or newer, only.
Builds starting with r76 up to r77 are for Android Oreo and Pie custom roms."
Now, I'm on 7.1.1 with october 2017 security patch. Why the francokernel app makes me flash r76 kernel? shouldn't it give me no other kernel than the r75?
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way and has noticed this. Very well put.
On a side note Ive purchased fku app awhile back to support the dev. But no longer use it because of the problems I've seen with it and I personally get better results with a diff app. No biggie. But I'm not about to point out those issues because I know how hard dev works on this and I appreciate every second of it

Well said, and in addition: chastising those who support you and made you who you are is not good form. I think the term is "biting the hand that feeds you".
I remember when you just got started. You were humble and kind. Don't let your ego get the best of you. You wouldn't be here right now if it wasn't for us.
I mean this in all due respect. Sometimes people need a wake up call. I flashed lean kernel not because I was upset with your kernel, I did it because I was getting sick of the way you talk to people. I'm sure I'm not alone.
Peace.
