Sorry, the new v11 do not have nightmare governor. V11 delete many governor.
V11 doesnt have nightmare governor yet.
Which is most like v10 darkness in v11?
Now I use zzmoove battery extreme, it not drain battery too much for ordinary usage.

I am using crdroid with the 19-04-1018 Stable Kernel. No idea wich version the 19-04 is. Having problems with lockups and reboots with the v10 and v11 beta versions of the Hybrid Kernels.
My question is why the launcher is sluggish especially in the drop down menu and in the activities menu when cleaning apps. Also a bit less in the launcher. When I reboot the phone everything is smooth but after a while it is getting worse. Tried different governors but I did not see any difference. Also changed the LMK settings back to stock and this helped a bit. Then I tried L-speed and tried different LMK settings with more aggressive ram cleaning and not keeping activities in memory. Trying different settings changed the smoothness of the launcher.
I think that it is more a ram management that is causing this over time.
In L-speed I have the LMK set to Multitasking and checked the Don't keep activities option. Also the Virtual Memory tweaks set to Performance.
I think the Hybrid default settings aren't the most optimal for the Note 2. An approach more aggressive ram management seems to keep the phone more responsive.
Maybe someone has tinkered with some of these settings for the Note 2 and is getting better results?

- Internal SD schedulers. - Row.
- Readahead buffers. - 1024.
- Stock speeds with light undervolting.
L-Speed.
- Profile. - Performance.
- Ram manager. - Multitasking.
- Don't keep activities. Checked.
- Virtual Memory tweaks. Performance.
- Cache. Standard.
- Heap optimization. Checked.
- OOM Killer. Checked.
With these settings about 600+ mem free. Opening 10+ apps the mem free still stays around 200 and the launcher is still responsive. With default Hybrid install about 300+ free with nothing opened.

Is it alright to flash 9.99 (mentioned in the OP) or is it fine to flash the latest version available v12? I'm currently using RR-N edited by Marc.

After that I had massive reception problems and my GPS does not work anymore.
I could restore the modem from an old backup.
But not the bootloader and thus my GPS still does not work.
I have pretty much gone through the internet and can not find a UFNE1 bootloader without a kernel for flashing with ODIN or TWRP.
Does anyone have a link to such a file?

I left everything on default as set in the Hybrid kernel and tweaked it only with the L-Speed app to get it more smooth. After I posted some time ago It really did not help as much as I liked so I went back to a clean crdroid install with its own retro-kernel and never tried hybrid again.Is it alright to flash 9.99 (mentioned in the OP) or is it fine to flash the latest version available v12? Used hybrid when it went up to version 9.99 and maybe that version is still the most stable at the moment. Saw some betas and the development went to the Telegram group and never saw new stable builds ever again. Tried some newer version but only had lockups and soft reboots every time. Even one time a reboot where android would not boot again until I did a clean install.
My advice is if you want to tweak kernel settings with the boeffla app try version 9.99 but if I am honest the Retro-kernel with the crdroid rom is good enough for daily use.

Can some one please post a change log for the v12 kernel? Im useing the v9.9 on Viperos 7.1.2 rom and it works great, just want to know if there are any improvements on it or if v9.9 is the only stable one out, also saw on the media fire page V12mm- mm= Marshmallow?

These few days I encounter lost of root (magisk) problem after update to version 12 on my N7100. I'd try reinstall and lost it again a couple of time already. 9.99 was OK though. Anybody have the same encounter?

I'm confident the v12 is having some kind of problem. As I revert back to v9.99 the problem of losing Magisk (17.1) root doesn't happen anymore.
