I'm looking for Feedback

I created a survey to get your feedback on how to improve Sublime-N9. It takes less than five minutes to complete and your feedback is greatly appreciated!

v3.6 SDCARD FS

Sounds great, can't wait for it :)

I've merged most of the SDCARD FS patches into a build. Feel free to try it out and give me feedback on how it works. Since it's likely to be buggy, I recommend backing up any important data on your Nexus 9 before flashing. Cheers.

    Introduction
This kernel features the CPU frequency governor Sublime Active. I wrote it to maximize performance without compromising on battery life. Sublime-N9 is based on Elementalx which comes with a slew of features including an updated zram and wake gestures. With that said, I hope your experience with this kernel will be nothing less than sublime.

    Sublime 2.2.0 Release Notes

With this release there were lots of changes made including fixes for compiler warning, stability patches, and a simplification of the Sublime governor which for the most part do not affect the performance of the kernel. The Sublime governor was made leaner by removing tunnables and some unnecessary variables. With regard to functionality, cases for when the load is high during an input event have been accounted for, although I intend to do more to optimize performance in the next release. If you would like better performance now, try lowering the highspeed_up_threshold from 95 to 90. Additionally, I have been working on making Sublime into a repo project to make the kernel easier to build. You can follow my work at https://github.com/orgs/Sublime-AOSP/.

    Version 2.0.1 Sublime Governor

There appears to be a small issue with the Sublime governor with regard to the default values, however if everything is working fine for you, you can ignore this post. The cpu frequency does not decrease as much as it should. To fix this issue you can
    1. Use Elementalx or a different governor for now
    2. Edit the Sublime governor tunables in Kernel Aditur or another app:
      • set the micro frequency decrease threshold to 30
      • set the frequency decrease threshold to 15
      • set the micro frequency increase threshold to 85
      • set the frequency increase threshold to 70

I'll try to get out an update this weekend.

This is the last official release of the kernel by me. I now have an iPad Pro and I am giving away my Nexus 9.
