By recompiling the kernel with all required drivers enabled
I do not think that I have the skills or equipment to do that. I had spent the last couple dats researching if I could figure it out, but no dice. That being said, do you think an older version would have it, not that Dex is at all a priority to you, potentially, but if you have an idea of when the drivers might be removed, maybe I could just use that one until I do figure out how to recompile the Kernal.

Thanks again!

@noxxious I'm a little noob so I want be secure of steps before do something. I'm in Google wiz rom which has ur kernel, a modified one I think. So for the release with ur r15 one I have to:
-install the modified 3.2.3 in install- image-recovery
-install the rom
I have to do a format or something or with that it's ok?
And if u give me the link to the modified TWRP I will appreciate it, I have been looking for it 10 minutes and I haven't found it ?. Sorry for lost ur time but I'm little noob and I did a lot of bootlops to my phone, I have that superpower ;(. And thx for the kernel?, I have it since r10 I think

You can replace the boot.img in the googlewiz rom zip and let the installation do the rest. A dirty installation should be good enough if you are already using the same rom. Moreover you can get modified TWRP in post 644.

Hello guys,

I flashed R13 and R14 and everything was great, and then I tried NOTORIOUS kernel which had bad battery life so I went to R15... After all this my phone is now kinda slow and some scrolling apps like 9gag now stutter

Benchmarks and gaming are great, but it takes noticeably more time to load apps... to share a photo... or even to load the keyboard sometimes. :(

After wiping dalvik and cache with no good results, I have factory reset it with no luck. I didn't keep a boot+system nandroid from before so I have no way to revert it back and I really don't want to reflash stock rom as I'm afraid of having to wait for another 7 days (I tried all the tricks at the time but did not work for me)

Anyways, does anyone know what can I do? Flashing a custom ROM would be my only option? I'm currently on R14. (Exynos S8+, G955FXXS3CRG1)

Thanks :fingers-crossed:

The lag you experienced is caused on deodex roms, which required you to reboot twice.
