I did not flash via advanced because it's impossible, don't worry. I was just replying to StaryMuz. I reboot to recovery, install, select zip. It installs successfully then after wiping cache and rebooting = fastboot loop. Maybe phone needs to be rooted, who knows.
Weird!
I'm not rooted just flashed in simple way.
Maybe your download file has some error during downloading.
Just re download the base build and try again sometimes files get Corrupted during downloading.

Ok I'll have a last try today in the evening... I'll put it again on device after re-downloading it then reboot to recovery - flash zip - wipe cache - reboot. Do I need to mount anything before flashing kernel? Just a thought since I'm out of options. Or maybe change file system?

I am on Pixel Experience Plus on Redmi Note 10. It doesn't have any official TWRP as far as I know.

01. How can I install this custom Kernel on my phone then?

02. What are the benefits of having this Kernel over the one my phone has now? Sorry I am not really a techy guy. Still learning. An explanation would be great.

1- check my guide in the thread & notes it's easy & safe just like flashing rom without wiping data. (click the spoiler):

2- Custome Kernels will give you more performance, better ram management & better battery backup. besides some features that you can twerk it ... read more on google.

Thanks. It is done. I have the custom (base) kernel now.

Now in any case, if I wanted to get back to the stock kernel, what should I do?

You are welcome hope you enjoy it. if you want back to stock just flash the rom again in recovery without wipe data that's operation called ( dirty flash ). and always wipe cashe & dalvik after any flashing.
and if you updated your rom you have to flash custome Kernel again.

I'm not requesting a feature but more like wondering if you've thought about undervolting support Mr. @Abdullah.Csit ? Would be sick for battery life and heat. This phone can get pretty hot sometimes hahaha.

Well, Thanks for testing and sharing your experience.

I hope that you mention the ROM that you're using.

For me & many others, The battery backup it's good. besides, The temperature also good with Neternels but it getting hot sometimes not because the Kernel it's causing for many reasons but mostly:

1- Redmi note 10 has not 🚫 Liquid cooling technology, Which In heavy using (like: Playing high games, pro Video montage & rendering,..) you will notice some heat (41 C°) ± high/less depending on the room temperature 🌡️ "summer".

by the way ? what's temperature you got when heating ? and are you facing heat on normal use!? could you provide me some tests with any battery app.

thanks

Yeeee I know it not water-cooled. Phones didn't need water-cooling before though.

Honestly I can't notice the difference between my stock Evolution X and the kernel. Both give me the same battery life and heat output. ^^; My phone feels just as fast as it did before hence why I asked if this would be a feature. It overheats just the same with Google Maps and videos running while I'm driving around. I could lock it to a lower power state and that works fine. If I could undervolt it I know I can make it stop overheating without making it slower though! At least limiting the max frequency is better than it throttling like crazy lol it goes down to 2fps.

Haven't faced any new bugs however. Everything working good. Phone charges quickly. Camera works well though not much better if at all for the audio bug I can't tell. It works sometimes and don't some others. x3

If you update TWRP ( Reflash Kernel after reboot to recovery )

If you update Xiaomi.eu or whatever rom (Reflash Kernel)

You can normally flash it while you finished flashing (no need to boot system and back again to recovery flash it with the update of rom)

EDIT: @Nik00laus .for stock Kernel, yes you can rollback just "Expand zip file of your rom and extract boot.img" flash it. besides, you can flash rom again without wipe data!.

    thx for your successful work.

i use pixel exprience plus, with stock kernel this device literally doesn't have multitasking (4gb version).

With this kernel open 3-4 app on game, you can back game you paused position.

SOT barely hitting 6 hours. on latest PE and NetErnels. no Magisk so no root. any suggestions to improve battery life? willing to root and use franco. just need some guidance as new to all this.
Check these, one of the following might be the cause:
    > High data usage
    > More than half brightness all the time
    > Hours of video/audio calling.

I get 12+ sot everytime on netErnels here.

    Disclaimer:

Seems to be inlining drivers caused the kernel to not boot on miui. So an #Hotfix is cooking By #cyberknight to make it boot successfully on MIUI 📯

new guy here. what does it mean 'may take time to get used to' in the statement "Deep sleep may take time to get used to as I reduced time to enter sleep." the system or the user?
Deep sleep from settings isn't accurate. Use any other battery tracker or kernel manager like fkm. Here's the NetErnels stats on balanced profile (default).

    « NOTES »
Boots on MIUI, but use it at your own discretion.

If you use nethunter, flash the modules zip in magisk too, if not just flash the kernel zip.

Rapid GC will take time to get used to.

Setup kprofiles by doing #kprofiles in neternels telegram group .

Deep sleep may take time to get used to as I reduced time to enter sleep.

Due to some issues, modules are removed for this update.

    • Flash the "nethunter" version if you're a nethunter user "kali stuff..." (check Changelog up).

    • Temperature around 30-40 is completely normal

    • If your device not booting to system just bootloop or fastboot only. Don't panic. re-flash your rom file without wiping data.

    • If you update TWRP, reflash the kernel again too.

    • You don't need to Wipe data ! Only cashe and Dalvik.

    • Report for any bugs/issues with logs if available, I will upload them to developer.
