The pinned thread shows the latest Indian build as OnePlus9ProOxygen_22.I.07_GLO_0070_2104122242 11.2.4.4, GLO is Global, it should also work for Global builds, it has an India.img embedded within. The only models it shouldn't be used on are the provider locked builds like T-Mobile.
MY opinion, I always switch my global variant too EU(BA) soon as i BL unl(im on tmo using global variant) Always full zips(OTAs) and since global goes thru Google, root breaks the ability to update rooted.

Love the last 24hrs with OMEGA... My 9pro battery life has stabilized and is doing great, and phone is snappy and smooth af. Perfect(omega)

Hmm did your kernel fixed Gmail notifications? Was not getting it unless I manually open the app.. Now it seems like it's working after flashing your kernel.

Will 5 may kernel work on 5.5?
It works, but I can see that the new 11.2.5.5 system has updated sources, so once they push it I'll update the sources for Omega.

Just flashed this yesterday, and I'm loving the lower temperature also. One of the games I've been playing has very intense graphics that always significantly heat up the phone, but there's no noticeable increase in temp anymore since flashing Omega. It's a significant improvement over stock.

I was already doing pretty well with battery life (thanks to Naptime and GSM doze), but I'm seeing at least a slight improvement there as well. I look forward to seeing what the averages look like over the next several days.

Yes. I already reflashed. It would work on any OS11 OP9pro build

The phone runs cooler on stock kernel after the update compared to last update. They must've done something for thermal management

    Introduction

Hello everyone, this is my personal kernel for the OnePlus 9 Pro.
My philosophy on the kernel is pretty simple, intended to replace the stock kernel, but with a lot of under-the-hood tweaks.

    Hopefully you will all enjoy!

    Important thread information!

I refuse to acknowledge/respond to bug reports that do not include clear steps to reproduce, a logcat, and a console ramoops (if random rebooting) or a dmesg (any other issues). Follow this guide to do this.
Keep things civil, no flaming in the forums!

    Features

    • Up to date with OxygenOS 11 source
    • Compiled with GNU GCC toolchain for maximum stability, with all warnings and errors fixed
    • Compiled with GCC's cortex-a55 optimizations
    • Many tweaks under the hood for smoother UX, lower battery drain, etc.
    • BBR as the default congestion algorithm
    • Available to flash with AnyKernel3

    Thanks where it's due

@pyry666 for all his help getting me logs after logs after logs. Without him this wouldn't have been possible!
@Burt Squirtz and @crashazz3 for helping to test
Kerneltoast for his extreme patience and guidance

    New kernel release!

    Changelog:
    - Now built with GCC 10.3.0, since it's better. No other reason. Linux is also built with GCC, so there you have it.
    - Fixed all code warnings and errors that GCC found (it found a LOT)
    - Switched to BBR congenstion control. Much better throughput on bad quality networks.
    - Removed a ton more debugging

    Enjoy!

First custom kernel is ready for the 9 Pro!

IMPORTANT - this will NOT work on a standard Oneplus 9, only the 9 Pro!!!

    Changelog:
    - Initial release with Clang 12.0.5 from Google, all code warnings and errors fixed
    - Tons of debugging removed from the kernel for a smoother experience

    Enjoy!

May 4 release still building? No flashable zip yet on GH.
I'm eager to try the latest 😉
Ha! Somebody actually looks at GitHub! :)
It's already built but being tested as we speak. I just wrote up the changelog so I don't forget anything. Release tomorrow AM.
