Love it man, I'm usually on your betas but stable releases have been legit too. If you're an end user looking for the best hmp experience, please flash pi kernel. I'm willing to help anyone here or on the other chat platform that must not be named.

I just want people to know that this kernel is the ****, whether on OOS or custom rom

Also, so I make a real contribution to the XDA forums, this Dev went out of his way to make pi kernel compatible with omni/custom roms. His implementation of flash kernel has one unique trait - it has sched predict (something like that) enanled on the little cores, and over time I've noticed a performance boost.

Last thing, beside Blu spark this is all we got for hmp. So respect the kernel if you're an idiot mongrel like me who refuses to go eas.

"Telegram builds" is usually beta builds or experiments, if you want something more stable or "reliable" use the version that is here.

First time that such a problem is reported.
Can you give me a log?

@crian Your kernel is rocking it man! Super smooth and it seems like that most of the lagging since Pie are barely noticeable for me.. Tried almost all other Kernels for OP5.. Is this kernel using stock wifi module?
Really appreciate your work :good:

How does the wakelock blocker work? Does it automatically block particular wakelocks or are there settings we can adjust somewhere?

Boeffla's generic wakelock blocker. https://wiki.boeffla.de/index.php?title=Boeffla_generic_wakelock_blocker "...blocks a couple of harmless wakelocks by default, namely: qcom_rx_wakelock, wlan, wlan_wow_wl, wlan_extscan_wl, netmgr_wl and NETLINK." The dev is retired now, but you'll see this wakelock blocker incorporated into quite a number of custom kernels for oneplus devices.

The instructions state that you should dirty flash stock ROM if your on a custom kernel. it's the first time seen that recommendation when flashing a new kernel.

Is there a specific reason for this, and if so what would be the repercussions of not flashing the stock ROM prior to flashing your kernel? Not a big deal, just curious. Has anyone tried just flashing the kernel, then wiping the cache and dalvik just to see if it's necessary?
