Hi Franco! Thanks for the kernel!

Are you planning to implement EAS or it's something you're not even considering?

Comparing with Weeb, where EAS works like a charm with the device being super smooth, I thought It might be a great idea to have EAS with all the battery optimizations in this kernel.

He won't implement EAS on this device. He only supports EAS on devices that comes with EAS as stock kernel

Lol i doubt he has time for a 2-year-old device. The man's talent is better utilised elsewhere. We are lucky to have the occasional updates and critical bug-fix tbh

I flashed r49 from the app on custom rom pie but I got the one for stock rom. It's normal?

The app flashes the correct version don't worry.

Nah. It's fine as it is.

That usually happens when changing roms. The Play Store takes a while to sync the new device id and well... it's Google, ****'s broken.
Easy fix is usually just clear play store cache and reboot since that's pretty much out of my control.

@ franciscofranco - Before I report this possible 'Bug' (could be operator error), I would just like to preface by saying that I love and have much gratitude for your work!

• I am using my OnePlus 5(A5000), UnEncrypted, running HaVoC-OS 2.8 PIE, on the latest(9.0.8) firmware. Running with Magisk 19.3(installed mod list will attach) - including Riru Core & EdXposed(Sandhook), Dolby Digital Plus v6.5(by repey6), Kali Nethunter8.2 w/full chroot & all meta packages, as well as Legendary Kernel Tweaks, and Kernel Sepolicy Patcher. I am sure I can figure out how to pull & link any logs if you require (root@kali/# terminal commands ?).

- currently, the only issue I am having is (as shown on linked video), SOME settings in the app won't stick or survive reboot. I tried uninstalling LSpeed, as well as LKT Magisk Mod, with no results.

*Note: I have used your Kernel for some time and the app as well without any issue, but when I flashed r48 from r47 with the manual flashed In FK Kernel App > BOOM! I ended up having to format and start over flashing latest open beta from OnePlus.com, followed by a firmware package for radio & modem from 9.0.8. tried to flash my usual setup, in the usual fashion, using r48, trying Encrypted as well as UnEncrypted (w/XXX_NO_VERITY_OP5-Treble.zip). It would flash fine - all good. But I never was able to get it to completely boot successfully. It would boot thru bootloader warning, custom splash, into bootanimation, but would never vibrates and finish. Luckily, right when I thought my brain was going to supernova, you dropped r49 - and back to normal - worked fine. Only now some settings(CPU Gov tunables, I/O readahead values, vibration strength, MSM performance touchboost, etc.

- Thank you so much, in advance, for all of your work and any time/consideration for my issue. Also, EXTREMELY grateful for your continued support of LOS/AOSP ROMs for PIE on Cheeseburger!!!

I know the answer would probably be no, but you never know if you never ask. Any chance it could support controllers (eg Xbox) over OTG?

Dunno. Settings are applied after Android gives the signal "hey we're booted", it's out of my control. Check for OxygenOS option "deep optimization", it should be off.

Sure.

Hello :)
Is there a chance for OP7/7Pro ?

Yes.

spamming such a message in the kernel log is this normal or not?

    Disclaimer to moderators:
Slight OT is fine, but when users decide to act stupid they should be dealt with with the appropriate means - its really annoying for me when OT turns crazy. Please put the warning/ban hammer anytime any of you think there's lack of respect and/or too much unwanted OT crap - but if it doesn't meet this criteria let the OT posts alone. Thank you.

    Cheers!

As usual there's a large focus on battery life. F2FS is upstreamed to the latest version and I spent a couple days single picking useful commits from Qualcomm's repository with fixes and power consumption improvements.

You should see an improvement in battery life.

Happy new year! I'll release FK for Oreo tomorrow!

Hey all! As maybe some of you know I got married at the start of July so of course Android went to the sidelines. Now that I'm back let's catch up and have some fun together! r32 is out with all the updates you need. And you know it, you can auto-flash with my app http://get.franciscofranco.xyz

Support for open betas with Treble will go out tomorrow, it's late and I haven't tested it as much as I'd like.

    I hope ya'll doing great :)

Anyway, pushed r16. It's a 100% rebased Kernel on top of a clean stock + latest CAF stage + upstream 4.4.112 from Flash Kernel's base with all my commits & work on top. It's compatible with stock OxygenOS and the latest Open Beta 4.
You can auto-flash with my app if you're on the beta channel http://get.franciscofranco.xyz
or just download the zip from the OP and flash.

This is a major, MAJOR release.
