Changelog ;

P.s: Not much changes in this version because I'm currently on holidays. Regarding kernel-patcher (AK2/lazyflasher), I'm currently still learning to do that. Very sorry guys. :( Development for more feature and upstream will continue soon.

To-do list ;

I'm open to any suggestion to add other feature, just make sure its reasonable. Would be a great help too if you can point me to the commit if available. ;)
thanks man :) take your time
adreno idler will be nice

you made a great done,,
i want to try
And I have two question
1....how to oc the device i want to learn
in my computer i add 1632mhz in the msm8992.dtsi,and msm8992-gpu.dtsi to 700mhz
I make boot it in linux,i just by comparing the RR kernel, i don’t know whether it works because i don‘t have any C Language.
2...Can hatekernel work in miui9?
finally i wish u can oc thanks guys

how karnel+aex rom performance?battery? stabil??
I think this combine stable enough, but i cannot explore more for every features.. just installed an use as daily phone..
And may aex stil have some minor bugs..

What substratum theme is that?
This is not substratum theme but already include on display settings, like other 8.1.0 roms like Nitrogen OS..

AICP flashed successfully. Will try to test the battery and performance.
HateKernel 1.3 intalled on my phone.
AEX Rom, without trouble on booting.
Cool! Now we know my kernel booted up on 3 ROMs with the exception of NOS. Thank you for testing it out :good:

Well, I'mma just suggesting these

1. KCAL Advanced Color Contol [with satutation, contrast and etc. Control]
2. Faux Sound Control [this really useful especially if somebody is experiencing a hissing noise on their headset, so they can reduce the output volume through this control]
3. Intelliplug or any hotplugging [only if it's really necesarry]
4. Adreno idler / booster of course (You've mentioned)
5. Upstreaming to the latest CAF (You've aforementioned)
6. ZRAM LZ4 Backport (On your to-do list)
7. Some kind of power efficient workqueue maybe
8. So-called boeffla wakelock (if i ain't mistaken the name)

:D

PS : Anyway, undervolting seems working flawlessly, I've never reached 50°C now on normal chatting usage (usually it is around 50-55°C after one hour usage)
thanks man :) take your time

Yeah I'm already planned for that stuff for a while with the exception of custom hotplug driver. IMO, custom hotplug won't do much for msm8992 since QCom's core-control is good enough with a slight tweaks. But I might be wrong, well I look it up more.

1) I believe it takes more than just those *.dtsi modification to have proper overclock. Unfortunately, my kernel won't take cpu freq directly from msm8992-regulator.dtsi. I've seen somewhere in kernel tree, a file named msm-supplied-freq or something (not sure) and I guess that might be the problem. And also, you need to adjust drivers/cpufreq/ & /devfreq + something more. Remember, I'm not a pro so I might be wrong. Pm me, maybe we can work something out.

2) Just a simple 'no'. Sorry man..

i'm expiriencing laggy animations like on stock cozzmy's LoS, is there any way to fix it? AEX 5.1 with this kernel
Try changing governor. I made some modification on default interactive governor so that probably the cause of lagginess.

Btw, my setup on KA ;

- zzmoove governor on both cpu cluster
- big cluster max freq 1.2gHz, LITTLE cluster max 1.4gHz
- zen io-scheduler + 1024mB cache

I've tried to change governor, i use blu_active and also tested elementalx and pn both i have a bit laggy animation while entering app drawer and scrolling down statusbar

Yeah, but its bot a solution:(
I've tested in bonsai benchmark 3d performance and there is very low fps, something like 48fps instead of 54+fps on miui or RR
Does on your device with AEX stock kernel has same issue? As mine, it is the same. Happens with all Oreo version. If on your case it's only happens after flashing this kernel, probably because this kernel is undervolted?

In 3D performance cases, I have no idea what could cause such framerate drop. Could be Vulkan issue, could be kgsl-power state issue, could be GLES issue or maybe thermal issue. Unfortunately, I have never been able to reproduce that lagginess issue in UI. Everything still is pretty smooth for me. I think that goes more to ROM- specific bug. Try asking your ROM developer.

HateKernel work flawlessly on latest DU 12.0... :D
Nice to know man! Thanks for testing it out :good:
