Hey squid2,
I came across this post and read some positive comments in starting seems like u did a great job.
So my problem is i m now running on stock marshmallow rom 6.0.1 which the device got an OTA update on moto g3 x1550 (2gb ram and 16gb internal variant). I havent rooting this device even a single time.
1st question: For now i want to be on stock rom that is 6.0.1 after unlocking bootloader and installing twrp followed by SuperSu i want this kernel for better performance and batterylife. So which version of this kernel should go with so this stock marshmallow 6.0.1?
2nd Question: In some days i wont to flash Official lineage os 14.1 for the same device for that which kernel version will i need ?
3rd question: i need to install the kernel after installing the ROM?
Thanks in advance/![]()
First: use squid v22. Flash supersu after flashing kernel
Second: flash v22b or have a look at the los 14.1 microg thread. This rom already includes an updated squid kernel too.
Third: yes
