Nope doesnt affect the gpu blobs found in roms and magisk modules which you are moat likely talking about, but does kernel side changes to the kernel gpu drivers.

I personally do not tweak, change gpu drivers myself, I keep whats in the rom Im on, but I am not gaming neither. Many people do update/flash gpu drivers to get better performance, but it may also affect quality. Some drivers tweak some rendering and remove graphic properties like shadows or particle effects resulting in of course better fps but decreased visual quality. To answer your question better, I'll ask a friend and NGK tester to come here and answer as to which one you should be flashing and why.

About the drivers question, the most recommended course of action is to update your drivers to the v530 version. It's a flat upgrade over the vanilla drivers, offering bugfixes and optimizations over the base driver, absolutely nothing more, no weird tweaks like disabling particles or similar things that can break the user experience for performance.
This modification is totally compatible with the No Gravity Kernel in both Aosp and Miui roms.
PS. I am the tester the dev was talking about.

Only "problem" will be that you have to reflash custom kernel after updating the rom, since update will flash kernel that comes with rom.

Yes, when you update rom, it comes with its own kernel, so you need to flash the kernel you want everytime you update rom, same with root.

I can't flash it on Beryllium latest Crdroid 8. It says it doesn't support System_ext.
