I'm getting heavy drain both idle and screen on. This is normal for the first few battery cycles as the kernel settles in right?

Battery drain is subjective....use an app like bbs and see if some of ur apps have gone rouge..
This is a very, very late update, I know. It's just an engraving to tell everyone that we're still alive in this ship and will stay that way for quite some time.
This update focuses on what I deem to be important for now, we are just picking our momentum back and we might be returning to faster paced updates (instead of this "crawling" monthly updates which brings zero exciting things). I'll sort this out later.
Here's some changelog to keep you up and running:
* Fixed "Dirty COW" vulnerability
* Merged changes from OnePlus to sync up changes of OOS3.2.6
* Finally added DT2W and S2W to unsupported system but runs OOS kernel anyway (for example, MIUI)
I'm excited on what I have planned, there are some interesting changes here and there (and this update isn't exactly one of them), but I might as well post this update here to keep us up and running.

It was Audio Mix Wakelock. Not sure what was causing it. I'll test the new kernel though thanksShow us some battery stats to help you

Not sure why, but installed over elemental kernel and freedomos 1.6.1. Getting black screen (after the bootlogo i getting blackscreen unable to on my device. Only way is force reboot to recovery etc).
Reflashed with elemental kernel then everything ok.

Most probably because there are conflicts between the EX kernel's modules and the Mono modules. Reflash your ROM dirty with no wipes and then install Mono
don't forget to flash supersu after that. clearly mentioned in the Freedom OS thread
Is this kernel compatible with cm14.1 and has it the feature that dm-verity is disabled?
It supports only ROMs built from stock OnePlus code (OOS, H2OS, MIUI partially for some ports and fully for others)
dash charge breaks on miui.. mivv build 6.11.10.. getting only 1400ma instead of 3500ma.. tested @ 15 % battery.. any workaround for this.. thank you ...

i tried elemental x on miui.. but phone went to bootloop.. after that i never tried any kernal..
then i heard about this kernal.. i flashed and phone booted fine.. but it broke dash..[emoji29] [emoji29]
Hmm, this is strange, can you send me the stock boot.img from the ROM?
here is the stock boot.img from mivv's miui 6.11.10. btw, i tested too with elementalx kernel boot up fine, but it break dash charge too
