@F4uzan is there anyway to use aroma so i can get the frequencies to stick, b/c i like to underclock, also is there a way to add bluactive govenor, thank you
You mean AROMA like ElementalX? I'll see if I can find a workaround for that, I don't necessarily need underclock so I never thought that the clock settings wouldn't stick. blu_active will surely come in the next update, I plan to bring some more changes in the future update.

yes like elementalx b/c prior i tried blu_sparks but i noticed the frequencies do not stick after reboot even if u use a kernel editor to apply boot settings and still does not work, elementalx using aroma was the only way to get them to stick, but i like blu_active kernel but flar2 will not add it. lol thank you for the quick reply

oh also i noticed with custom roms too that the sRGB does not stick, idk if that can be fixed, thank you again

Have you tried disabling CPU boost in Kernel Adiutor? I think Kernel Adiutor is not yet properly updated for SD820, so it might cause some problem with frequency setting. For sRGB, yes, it doesn't stick for me either, I'm looking for a fix for it.

Took a look at your source and it seems like you've put a lot of effort and cherry picked good commit so I've tested the kernel, seems very solid and smooth for me the last few days so I will keep it a daily driver.

Great work!

Thank you!

Flash RR and itll change your mind ;) so smooth and bug free

or

flash HydrogenOS and have your phone last twice as long lol
Haha, I actually planned to try HydrogenOS with the kernel, quite unsure about RR but I'll surely try it one day. Thanks for the tip!

@F4uzan
Nice to see you here man. Have you sold or stopped development for OnePlus One? I quite liked your SAOSP rom for bacon. :) Never really knew you are into kernel development as well. Hoping to buy my OP3 by next week most probably. :)

Yep, I have stopped the development for OnePlus One and replaced it with the OP3, that device was a blast to develop on. I'll see you next week then, haha

Does multi from work with out issues anyone tested that yet?
I haven't tested it, but since the MultiROM in OP3 uses the no-kexec workaround, it should work fine, if not then I'll find a workaround and fix it.

Perhaps I/we will switch to CM when Android Nougat is out, I am sure OOS will take a while, just like every other OEM out there, hopefully not too long though
nice work @F4uzan
Definitely, I'll take some sweet time in OOS, though, unless some of my Nexus friends starts nudging me with that sweet N. Thanks!

BTW would you recommend going for this device over OPO or should i wait for this year's Nexus? My priority would be future proof chipset and decent developer support but not expensive device.

I think the OP3 wins over this year Nexus if you don't wish to wait, it's a true successor to the OPO (yes, no hyperbole there), and the smaller battery capacity isn't a complain either when my daily SoT is about 6 hours.

Kinda went offtopic, you may want to discuss this in PM or something ;)

So, another update is up and running with not much changes to be seen (as to be expected), there is a lot to see in the commit logs on Git, but there's very little to be found that can be customized.

Here are the shortened changelog:

* Added blu_active
* Enabled tons of TCP congestion algorithm (there is a lot)
* [Experimental] I added overclocking, but I'll let you guys test if it works or not
* Lots and lots of upstreaming and cherry-picking from CAF and CM
* And also some upstreaming from Google (android/kernel_common/android-3.18)
* Fixed QuadRooter Exploit (thanks to eng.stk for sorting those commits out!)
* Removed powersave and userspace governor, it's not like anyone is actively using them anyway
